Great water-based moisturizer

I like it. I had the chance to have one to 2 applications from the sample provided. It is soft, and don't have any scent, which is great. I don't find it irritating. It leaves a soft finish on my skin. I tend to have dry skin, and one tiny application really got rid of the dryness.

Dual effect!

Tried this sample of Covergirl clean fresh skincare weightless water cream and I liked the fact that it works as a moisturizer and also as primer. It is a bit sticky so it takes time to penetrate the skin. COVERGIRL Clean Fresh Skincare Weightless Water Cream scent is also fresh and light. It hydrates the skin perfectly.

The water cream is very hydrating and refreshing. I have combination skin. Some parts of my face is oily and some parts are dry. The water cream fully hydrated the dry parts of my face for over a day. However, for the oily parts it made it really oily. I would not really recommend it for people who have oily skin but for people who have dry skin.

I love this cream!

I love how well this moisturized my skin. I used it under my makeup for about 5-7 days. A little of this cream goes a long way. It worked well under my foundation. It didn’t irritate my skin or cause acne. It does have a scent that may be a problem for someone sensitive to scents though. It is vegan and has hyaluronic acid and is cruelty free.

Cover girl cream

This light cream works well for a primer. I find it a little sticky in some places on my face. It definitely has a strong smell which is something I don't really like but I can deal with

Liked it but…

Covergirls new weightless water cream felt really light on my skin. The cream absorbed very well and did not leave tackiness behind. I also enjoyed that the cream did not have any heavy perfume scent. My skin handled it well but the sample was so small that I only got a couple of uses out of it. Therefore I can not review the product fully enough to give a 5-star review as I don’t know if there are any effects from long term use and this is a problem that I have had with my skin in the past. Sometimes I can use a product for 3-4 days and love it; by the 5th day I start to get breakouts. I like the product but would have loved to put it to more of a “test” before I commit to purchasing it in a full size as I hate having to toss expensive creams out after a few uses when my skin reacts negatively.
