Covergirl Weightless Water Cream

I received this product as a sample and tried it as part of my early morning routine. Upon opening the package, I noticed the scent was different. It did smell like a plant but not floral. It’s not bad or overpowering, just different and one I wouldn’t choose. The cream itself was thicker than I thought but it did apply smoothly. The sample contained a sufficient amount to cover my entire face. I noticed that my skin felt slightly sticky. That feeling didn’t really disappear until maybe a couple of hours after I had put it on. Nevertheless, my skin pretty much stayed moisturized. I likely wouldn’t purchase it myself again unless I had to or it was on sale, as I would have a tough time giving up on my Korean skincare products, but I would recommend to anyone with skin on the dry side seeking all day moisturizing.

Great smooth coverage

I was given the opportunity to try Cover Girl Clean fresh skincare weightless water cream for free in exchange for my honest review. The sample sachet was very small but I was able to get a good idea of how the product feels. If the intention is long lasting results, the sample size hinders an honest review. It's alright

I used this cream in the morning before I applied makeup. I tried to use a minimal amount because I wanted to use the cream at night as well. The cream has a light pleasant scent to it. It spreads easily. I found that my face didn't feel as moisturized after applying the cream, compared to the cream I am currently using. I may or may not purchase it in the future.

Nice, lightweight day cream

I enjoyed sampling this water based cream because it went on effortlessly, had almost a gel like consistency and absorbed very well into my skin. It has a light and pleasant scent that goes away quickly. I wore it on a clean makeup free face and it instantly felt less tight from the cold winter air. I have also worn it under my makeup and it sits very well. I would recommend.

Wonderfully moisturiser

This moisturiser lasts all day and doesn’t make your skin feel tight which is hard to find, at least for Saskatchewan winters.
The best part is that it is cruelty free!

Simple and

Received a small sample of product in exchange for honest opinion
Pros:
Vegan, cruelty free and 90% natural ingredients so it can be used without feeling concerned about ingredients
Easily layers under makeup
Not greasy/oily and absorbed fast

Cons:
Sample size provided was too small to provide any review on true hydration potential (during Canadian winters would have been nice to evaluate if product truly provides intense hydration)
Slight scent that is a little perfume-y

Too light for my super dry skin

I much prefer products that do not contain perfumes and products with a bit more weight to them. It would be a nice product in summer but for winter, my skin needs a bit more oomph. I found that after applying, I needed to apply my regular cream about 20 minutes later. But it is winter, in Canada and it’s dry in our house.

Very refreshing

First I love covergirl products! So was very happy to try covergirl clean and fresh skincare. A little goes a long way! It’s super light weight and very refreshing it feels like your standing by the ocean with mist in your face! Dries very quickly my skin had a nice matte smooth look to it. I liked this cream it’s made of cactus water, vegan, 90% natural ingredients. Great for the winter when your skin needs that extra hydration.

Feels nice

It feels nice on your face. Its smooth and silky feeling. There's no strong fragrance to it. For me I had a reaction to it. My face started getting warm and red. I had to wash it off.

Great for hydrating skin

Loved this product. Great on the skin. Lots of hydrating benefits. It makes the skin feel nice and soft. I loved this product all around. It is amazing.
