Has a strong scent

While Covergirl's Clean Fresh Water cream moisturizer does a decent job moisturizing, it has a super strong scent which does not make me think 'clean and fresh'. The cactus water does seem to help with moisturizing but it leaves your skin feeling a little bit tacky after application, which is strange since it has fully absorbed. It does in a pinch, but it isn't my favourite moisturizer. #COVERGIRL #easybreezybeautiful

Weightless Is the Right Word

Covergirl Clean & Fresh Weightless Water Cream has really more of a cloudy gel like consistency that glides on effortlessly and absorbs quickly leaving a fresh matt finish. It has a light, fresh scent and moisturizes without being greasy. It left my skin soft and smooth from one day to the next.

Weightless Hydration

This moisturizer was light and fresh. I have sensitive skin and I had no problems using it. I like that it is a vegan and cruelty free product. It was a small sample so only used it for two days.

Light water cream!

First of all, the light texture of this water cream is very nice and not heavy. I’m a huge fan of water creams. It felt soothing when I applied it. The product absorbed quickly into my skin. The fragrance is ok too. Texture is smooth and silky. My skin does get dehydrated often and this added a good amount of hydration that I needed. I’m a fan of the ingredients used, especially the cactus water which sounds interesting! I love hyaluronic acid too. I don’t mind buying the full product since it’s affordable and did the job nicely. Good hydration for dry skin

When you apply it on your skin, there's a gritty texture to it. It doesn't absorb quickly into the skin, it leaves behind a sticky feeling on your face; so I tried this at night for extra hydration instead. There is also a mild scent in the product but it's light and pleasant. I didn't use this with make up, so I am not sure how well it works together.

First use seems good

I received a one time use sample to review, so I can only speak to first impressions. The smell was a little strong when I first applied it, but it seemed to fade quite quickly so I didn’t find it overwhelming through the day. It’s winter here so a good moisturizer is key, and this product did the job! That being said, it did make my face a little sticky and shiny, so I don’t think it will be good for the summer time. It claims to hydrate for 72 hours…maybe that’s if you don’t wash your face all that time? I wash mine morning and most nights, and needed to apply a moisturizer after washing my face that night.

Feels nice on skin

This moisturizer feels nice and light on the skin and has a nice pleasant scent. It absorbs quickly. I didn’t notice 72h of hydration though. So not sure if I will change from the current moisturizer that I use. I received this sample from @chickadvisor for my honest review.

Disappointed

This was a tiny little sample packet therefore I can’t really give my honest review. it was only a one time use sample and to give an honest review you need at least a couple weeks worth of product to get a feel of how the product is. I am quite disappointed that I wasn’t able to see how this product really worked.

Best moisturizing cream

I was pleasantly surprised at how refreshing and fast absorbing this light cream is. It left my skin soft and supple for a few days. I felt rejuvenated.
