Too perfumed

This product has excellent reviews, so I really wanted to like it. As a generic moisturizer, it does work. It does have a nice texture, it’s much thinner than many moisturizers and goes on very light. It doesn’t do anything "extra" like some other products do. My biggest complaint is the scent. When I think "clean fresh skin care", I think fragrance-free. This product is so highly perfumed I didn’t even want to put it on to test it. Many people with chronic illness have chemical sensitivities, and this would be a product to avoid (or avoid being near anyone who uses it). Sadly this is not a product I would recommend, as being surrounded by this smell by anyone I knew would be more than off putting. It will trigger migraine in people who struggle with strong smells.

Sample sachet-hard to tell if the product is worth

Not going to waste my time putting a review on my Instagram for a sachet. I can't even tell if I like it. Only got a sample sachet so can't really give a review on the product. Can only say that it has a unique smell

Not enough sample

I really wished they provided more of a sample, it was not enough to give a good enough and accurate review of the product that was sent. Please make sure when giving away samples we can give a accurate review for others that’s true and fair

Wasn’t for me

I have combination skin type and tried a sample of this water cream. I applied the cream
all over my face after a shower. About 20 mins later, my nose and around my mouth got super itchy. I had to wash it all off. Probably good for others, but wasn’t for me as I reacted to it.

Left me feeling greasy

Product felt nice going on and smelled very nice. But I woke up feeling extremely greasy. Did not even use the entire sample. Disappointed and would not purchase. Probably better for someone with dryer skin. I have combination oily.

Disappointed

This was a tiny little sample packet therefore I can’t really give my honest review. it was only a one time use sample and to give an honest review you need at least a couple weeks worth of product to get a feel of how the product is. I am quite disappointed that I wasn’t able to see how this product really worked.

Just like the inside of a cactus

Just as breaking a piece of aloe plant and rubbing it on your face would feel, the weightless water cream by cover-girl has the same feeling. There is a tackiness which eventually does go away but unless you’re putting the cream on at night before bed or just on your neck I find it hard to apply cosmetics on top of this feeling. It feels like it has not fully absorbed. And even thought it’s not heavy you feel the layer of cream.

Thank you for allowing me to try this product ...packaging was nice and easy to apply ..however the amount in the package isn't was not enough to truly feel your face was completely covered ...no smell or sticky sensation which was nice ...being winter my face is extremely dry and screams for moisturization and this product did not do this for me I was looking sp forward for that 72 hour moisturization feel as it claims on the package but unfortunately I never felt that so for me this is thumbs down sorry covergirl love your mascara though

COVERGIRL clean fresh skincare

COVERGIRL clean fresh skincare - I switched up from my normal nightly routine and tried the COVERGIRL clean fresh skincare. It smelled awful. I only used just a tiny bit as I wasn't sure how much we were to use as the product did not arrive with any instructions. The cream left my face feeling gross and sticky.. I figured that would go away after a few mins... nope. Face was sticky all night, so much so that I had to wipe it off...

I will not be purchasing this in the future which is a shame as I love Covergirl

Nice smell

It has a nice smell and consistency but I did not find it overly hydrating , I needed to put my regular cream over top. It might work great in summer months but in the cold weather it's just not strong enough
