Hydrating

Really enjoyed using this sample of the Covergirl Clean Fresh Skincare Weightless Water Cream. Just like the name says, it is really weightless and my skin absorbs it so well. It's also very hydrating.

Truly weightless

I like the texure which does not leave creamy or sticky feeling. Great for day and night use and under makeup foundation. Nice smell and leaving skin soft.

Feels nice!

Definitely feels like most high end cream that are water-based. It's light, yet you still feel moisturized. Will definitely get a standard format to keep it going.

Light and fresh

Covergirl’s Weightless Water Cream has a light fresh scent that I really enjoyed. The cream has a gel-like consistency that absorbs quickly and effectively. My skin looked great the day of use, however it was not as deeply moisturizing as advertised. I feel like this product is more of a spring/summer lotion. It is not moisturizing or long lasting enough for the harsh winter months. It is still a very nice cream though that I will consider purchasing when the weather warms up.

Softer Skin

In order for me to give it an honest review a bigger sample would have been nice instead of the single use packet I received. It has a nice light scent. It did however felt sticky until it was completely absorb but my skin felt softer. I would buy it just to see how it would stack up against my usual brand.

Trop léger

Crème beaucoup trop léger pour une peau mature. Par contre sensation d’avoir la peau souple. La texture de la crème est un peu liquide pas assez onctueuse. L’odeur est très bonne.

Like a cooling splash of water to the face

First off this feels so cooling and hydrating to the face. I stretched this to 2 uses one day with makeup and one day without and it was nice on both days. On the makeup day it worked really well as a primer and moisturizer although it was a bitter cold day and I was looking for more hydration near the end of the day. On the no makeup day my face felt nice and hydrated , plus my face had a touch of glow. I really liked the texture of this product and that it did not irritate my sensitive skin. Will look to buy this once my current moisturizers are used up!

Fresh & light hydration!

I received a sample of Covergirl Clean Fresh Skincare Weightless Water Cream from ChickAdvisor and Butterly to try in exchange for my honest opinion. It was pretty small and I was afraid it wouldn't even be enough for a full-face trial.

I was very pleasantly surprised! Yes, the sample was tiny, but the Water Cream spread and applied beautifully. There was enough in a 1.5oz sample for my face down to my décolletage. The texture was of a gel-cream, and a little thicker than I imagined, until I remembered this could serve as a primer if needed. I experienced no irritation or pilling (which I find can happen with moisturizer-primer hybrids) and my skin feels smooth and moisturized even a few hours later, though it will not last anywhere near the 72hr claim mark with my dry skin. There is a light, fresh scent to the cream, and it does fade relatively quickly - just enough to provide a fresh touch.

I can't speak to long term effects, but my one-time experience has been positive. I would be interested in trying this longer term, and see it as an option to purchase.

I have oily skin and lots of moisturizers make me so greasy, or break me out. This works with my oily skin, I didnt get oily, and my skin doesn’t skin like it normally does. This seems ok. There’s no real scent and I like the light gel cream formula.
