Sample too Small to Test

Skincare takes 3-4 weeks to show effects, as per the skin renewal cycle. Small samples unfortunately cannot provide adequate information on how a product works, other than immediate allergic reactions. This product also contains fragrance :( which is a big minus.

Not like any water cream I've had before

I was sent a complementary sample of Covergirl's Clean and Fresh Weightless Water Cream to test and review. Personally, I didn't like it at all. It was pretty thick textures for a water cream and it had a sort of grainy, silicone type texture to it. I had it on my skin for only a few minutes before I took it off, because I totally didn't like it. Sorry, but this product is a big no for me.

Didn’t get enough to test

It barely did one use for me. Skincare needs at least a month to see if it works, and I didn’t get enough. It was also sticky during the single use I got.

Strong scent

This was advertised as a very lightweight moisturizer and I found that to be true. It may be better suited to more humid climates or during the summer season in Canada. It felt nice and cool when applied but for my dry skin I felt like I needed about 3 times the amount supplied in the sample. The reason why I personally wouldn’t buy it is due to the heavy scent. I wasn’t a fan.

Not a moisturizer for me

I wanted to like this product, it seemed good being weightless for my oily to combination skin. I like the texture, it feels like a gel consistency but more thinner. However I have very sensitive skin and this product has too much fragrance in it. I don’t like to buy products with fragrance because it irritates and causes breakouts. So I will not be purchasing this product due to that.

Initially love it but it leaves a sticky feeling

I had high hopes for this. Upon opening it, I like the smell and feeling of it. However when I applied it to my face, it left my face feeling sticky. It's OK to sleep in but I wouldn't be able to wear it during the day as the stickiness would drive me nuts.

I didn't like the product

When we see water cream, we expect very light wait creme for hydration but this feels like applying lotion to skin or even not lotion. I didn't liked its formula and also it's smell. It should be more natural when we use it but it gives the chemical smell all over.

Want what I thought

It was gewy I did not like how it went on it felt oily and the smell was not for me. I would not recommend this to anyone. The label was hard to read as well

Very Ordinary

I was very surprised how ordinary was the product. Doesn't worse money people will spend on it! Even coconut oil would be better for your skin than this one!

Was not for me.

I tried this product and upon initial application, it left parts of my face tingly to the point of almost burning. I don't have sensitive skin, so was surprised.

I would not buy this product for that reason and will not recommend.
