this is a very light coverage foundation. At least on me it seemed more like a tinted moisturizer that would sink into my dry patches. That I could deal with but I couldnt stand the smell of this foundation, it is so strong that its all you smell while its on your face. This is not the best to layer either because a little too much of this and you will look cakey. Unfortunately this just didnt do anything good for my face.
This was probably the first type of foundation I used ,it was OK,it applied evenly and it didn't feel heavy on my face ,I guess I liked it because it was inexpensive and gave me the look I wanted ,Covergirl foundation comes in a good selection of skin tones
For the price this isn't a terrible product. I use it because it doesn't make me break out unlike many other liquid make-ups I've tried. I do have to reapply a couple times a day which I'm not a huge fan of. You get what you pay for here.
I normally use a 2 in 1 formula but i was tired of it and wanted to try something new. So I decided to try Covergirl. Now I'm a little more mature then I was when I first tried the brand in high school but I remembered it being good. My problem areas are sun spots, uneven tone and I have fair skin which is hard to match. What amazed me was that the foundation left me with an even toned palette for me to work with. Did not get oily throughout the day (True to its word). The low price was also a plus and it was buildable. The only issue at this moment is getting the product out of the bottle but it's minor for me. Love the formula and nothing a little q-tip can't help me out with. Other than that, i would recommence this foundation!
This foundation is supposed to be oil controlling but if anything it made my face MORE oily. it didn't last throughout the day and I experienced a bit of oxidizing causing it to change colour.
This actually made my skin so oily, and I have combination skin. The coverage is medium, they don't have good colours for my skin tone, it makes me look like a ghost.. also not very blendable and very cakey. Will never buy again.
This foundation has a nice formula and coverage.. however I cannot get over the scent of it. I am not a fan of this scent of this foundation at all. If I could ever get past that I think I would use this foundation more in the summertime.
I have had issues with covergirl in the past, as far as skin reactions go, so I was leary to try their foundation again, but I have recently been able to use other products I wasn't able to before. Luckily this foundation has caused no skin reactions what so ever, and actually feels really nice on my face.It goes on nicely but seems to have an issue blending around the mouth and nose. I have not found that it controls oil either, as my skin still feels just as oily as any other foundation I've used. I found it very hard to get out of the bottle, nearly having to slam it against something to get the foundation to come out. Over all I gave it a 3 star rating, I like that it as some kind of allergy control and doesn't cause me to break out, I like how it feels on my face, but it doesn't give great coverage, or keep the oil under control.
I tried the CoverGirl Clean Oil-Control Liquid Makeup and it was not my favorite. I find that it was too watery for my taste. I also find that the foundation was hard to take out from the bottle. It would have work better with a pump. However, it did blend well on my face using a sponge. The price is decent.
