I am a total fan of Cover Girl Mascara but this one is horrible. Because of the wand I only get mascara on either end of my eyelashes, and nothing in the middle :(

Not sure if mine was just sitting on the shelf a long time (I doubt this as I think its a new product) but when I first used it, it seemed really dry. Drier even than the mascara I had just thrown out for being 3 months old. It took a good 15-20 swipes before I got the effect I wanted, and I really had to paint it on with the tip then mash it through with the brush, leaving some clumpy looking areas.

This mascara made my lashes droop. It has great volumizing ability but can't hold a curl!

I have tried many mascara's and this one is my new favorite. I love how it coats and quickly gives your lashes a full thick look. It does not take more than a couple wands and you are ready to go. The price is right and the packaging of the mascara is cool too with the bright orange and flames on the container. Makes it so easy to grab out of my make-up bag too because it is bright!

The Flamed Out water Proof mascara is the newest mascara from Covergirl. It has a unique wire brush that coats your lashes giving you instant volume in a water resistant formula so you don’t have to worry about your mascara running down your face while you’re swimming this summer, or if you happen to get stuck out in a rain storm. How ever for those of you who don’t care for water proof mascara, it is available with out the water proofing. The brush is wide at the tip, thins out in the center, and then widens back out near its handle. I wasn’t sure if I’d like this brush because I’m use to a curved brush and I thought I might have a hard time with it. As it was I ended up having no trouble with this brush at all and I was able to reach each lash with out any trouble. It goes on very nicely with out clumping up, or flaking off, but it also is removed very easily with makeup remover. I put the new Covergirl Flamed Out Mascara on in the morning, went out in the rain, had it on all day and when I was ready to remove it that night, it still looked as nice as it did when I first placed it on my lashes that morning. It doesn’t feel heavy on at all, in fact I felt like I wasn’t wearing mascara. The new Flamed Out Mascara is available in Very Black Blaze, Black Blaze and Black/brown blaze. I bought the Very Black Blaze and didn’t find it to be to black at all, in fact I didn’t even realise I had picked that one up until after I first tried it. I thought I just bought the Black Blaze, so I can’t see there being very much of a different between the two colour shades. I’m happy with the new Covergirl Flamed Out water proof Mascara and I’m pretty sure you would be too.
