This mascara adds tons of volume and makes the lashes appear full and healthy.

While I understood that this was marketed as a '24hr long wearing' mascara, nowhere on the packaging did it state that it was waterproof. The results were certainly impressive - long lashes with volume, especially with more coats - but I hated the removal process. It was very difficult to remove with a cleanser and required an oil based remover (and lots of wiping) to get rid of the remnants. If I fail, the oils in my skin will encourage smudging under the eyes the next day and clumpiness in subsequent applications.

For me, the results were dramatic, but the inconvenience may just be enough for me to look elsewhere. If you are okay with waterproof, then this is a worthwhile mascara to have.

I was pleased with this product I have stuck to the same product for years but I receieved this one and was so pleased it did the job and made my lashes nice and dark and so long. my eyes stood out great!

When I tried this product I knew that it would provide great volume, due to the wand being similar to another Covergirl product I often buy, but I was very impressed with the long lasting quality of the mascara. Although it was a little more expensive it stayed on all night (even through a very hot, humid wedding). Only thing that can be a pain is taking it off at the end! Other than that, I would recommend it!

I like this product and would buy it again. Not my favourite mascara... not even my favourite drugstore mascara. But when it goes on sale I usually grab a couple. It definitely does it's job.

This is a very effective waterproof mascara, Its super thick and kindof hard to put on without clumping and making all my eyelashes stick together. But, once you get it all straightened out its very long lasting.

While the 24hr claim is a bit generous on CoverGirl's part, this mascara is hard working (like you are!), and will stay strong from the moment you put it on for your morning pre-work makeup ritual til way past after-work drinks.

Even holds up well past that point of no return on a Thursday night when you decide to join in on the karaoke party next door to the bar you're at, well into the dancing uninhibitedly part of the late evening at the club across the way.

Your eyelashes don't feel as stiff the next day as some other mascaras can be, and it doesn't hurt to apply a quick overcoat to get the fullness back for the next day of work. I'm prone to crazy under eye smudges, and this mascara isn't the worst offender I have ever had, either.

Biggest bonus going for it is the super comfortable wand. It's the soft plastic bristles that really do it, no clumping, great coverage with one sweep. Not for a dramatic look on its own, but this mascara helps play up the eyes without going overboard (aka, like when at other times your coworkers ask "big night tonight?" and you think you might look inappropriate. This mascara doesn't do that, but can transition really easily into your night look at 6pm without being too aggressive for 9am).

I wasn't a big mascara user before trying this randomly a few months ago, and now I pretty much swear by it.

This mascara applies really well and lengthens and adds volume to my lashes. It does not add as much length as other mascaras that I have tried but still does a good job. This mascara doesn't work as well when you try and put more than one coat on as it does start to clump. The brush is a little bulkier than what I am used to and sometimes I end up putting some mascara on my eyelid but I think that will change when I get used to applying it. Overall, it's a pretty good mascara that works well but does not last the full 24 hour claim though it does last a standard day. It can be tough to remove but at the same time, that must be what helps it to stay on. I would buy this again.

CoverGirl LashBlast 24HR is an avergae mascara that applies well, does not last 24 hours but does last 8 hours well, hard to remove with make-up remover. Makes lashes look thicker. Average price for an average mascara.
