Upon buying this mascara, my expectations were low, due to my past experiences with CoverGirl makeup. After using it, I can say that this is the best drugstore mascara. In fact, it's better than a lot of higher end mascaras I've used. The brush is awesome, it has small rubber bristles which are great at separating your lashes. The actual product is very smooth, doesn't flake throughout the day, builds beautifully, and despite the mascara not being waterproof, I've never had it run or smudge on me. I would recommend this mascara to both makeup newbies, and veterans alike.

The only criticism is that I do feel that it is a bit expensive for a drugstore mascara ($10.00+). That being said, it is well worth it.

I love his mascara! I've tried many kinds at all price points and I seem to have the same problems with all of them except this one. I have long lashes so most mascaras will smudge below my eyes throughout the day from just blinking. This is the only non-waterproof mascara I've ever found that stays put but is easy to wash off at the end of the day. It makes my lashes look great and can't beat the price

This is a hit-or-miss for me but overall, it's just an average mascara.
The product inside is thicker than your average mascara, and although it claims to be a "Clump Crusher" the product dries out quickly and you begin to get "Clumps" after just a few uses but initially, the mascara is fine until it begins to dry out. I also feel the mascara dries and flakes on your lashes within just a few hours as the product gets older. It does not give you a dark or dramatic look and isn't a mascara I would recommend for a nighttime look but would be ideal for a natural, daytime look or for somebody just beginning to use mascara.
The brush is small which makes it easy to apply evenly and throughout all your lashes and get close to your inner corner. It is a little hard though because the plastic, and I do get some irritation when I try to apply too closely to the root near my lid, I need to be careful not to press too hard. I do experience this with the majority of CoverGirl mascara brushes and wands.
It is very cheap though, and I feel it works great as a "base" mascara. It does lose its quality within a few weeks and although it is inexpensive to replace, it would get costly to do repeatedly just to get a decent mascara look.

I wanted to like this mascara as much as my covergirl lash blast - but I just dont. For the claim of clump crusher, it started to develop a lot of clumps after about one month of use and the colour seemed to be a bit off after a while...not really black anymore. I also was gifted and tried the brown version of this mascara and the brown did not have a great texture (too thin) and did not seem to stay in my lashes all day.

I don't really find there is anything special about this mascara at all. It actually sort of weighed down my lashes after a little while and for something called "clump crusher" it got a little clumpy. It actually didn't stay black, I noticed it began to turn grey.

I recently tried this mascara and was pleasantly surprised with the results given it is a drug store mascara. I often use expensive mascara as I have no lashes and need a high quality mascara to get any lashes to show. My lashes are short and not very thick. This mascara quality was very good for the price. It went on very easily and held true to the claim of no clumps. Because I have to apply a lot of mascara to get my lashes to stand out, I often end up with clumps or my lashes sticking together because I have to apply multiple coast. Even when I applied a few coats with this mascara it did not make my lashes stick together and clump. My only negative with this mascara is that it did not make my lashes as full and long as I would like, but the results were ok for a cost effective mascara.

The name hold true. I didn't have any clumps with the mascara on my lashes. If you are looking for more of a 'natural' look, this might be good to try. It did not give the volume and length I was looking for. I also found it to be a bit dry, so it didn't apply as nicely or last very long in the tube.

Fave fave faaaaave mascara out there! I have yet to find something better. The brush is fantastic and difficult to find that type in other brands. The mascara itself goes on smoothly and evenly, without clumping!!!! I love it! And it comes in brown, which I really like because I'm a blonde with super light eyelashes. Such a fan though!!

Especially liked the way so much product got "trapped" on the inside of tube and NOT clumped up on my lashes. That feature alone made the purchase worthwhile!

I love this mascara! It is very affordable and gives me such great definition! I love mascara with a firm plastic comb applicator as it ensures my lashes are long and separated. I much prefer this mascara to many other mascaras that I have purchased at Sephora (which also cost 3 times the price) and I will continue to repurchase for a long time.
