ive tried other drug store mascaras but this one really gives you that look of fake lashes, for the price i think this is a great mascara...
I actually picked this up in blue by accident and was initially dissappointed when I realized.... but when I put it on I loved it, it was a little blue but you couldn't really tell when it was on. I love the brushes from covergirl, they provide the best separation of your lashes plus it gives volume.
The brush works great and I found it very uniquely shaped compared to others (even though others claim to have a new shape and texture, this actually does!) It doesn't clump or flake off. The only downsides would be the price and the waterproof one is VERY hard to get off (even with eye makeup remover)
After my mom purchased this mascara and couldn't handle the large brush size, I was given the mascara to try. I honestly don't mind the brush, and enjoy the way this product makes my eyelashes longer and separated. Recommended.
For me, this mascara is mediocre. I don't love it, don't hate it, if it's around i'll use it. But i won't specifically make a trip to go get it. It does what a lot of mascara does, fill in my lashes, lengthens a little. I noticed that this mascara get dried and clumpy quite fast. Remember when you using your mascara, instead of pumping it in and out to get the product, twirl it inside the tube to prevent air from getting inside. Overall, this products okay. If it's on sale, not a bad idea to just grab it!
When trying Lashblast, I wasn't quite sure about the "new brush technology", however I was pleasantly surprised! The brush worked great, and the results were fair for the price, which is not too expensive. The claim on the commercial about is absolutely correct when they say that the wand grabs every lash. I would definitely recommend this product!
I was quite happy with this product.
I found that it did leave me with volume & didn't clump, as promised :) At $8 a tube, you can't afford not to try it !
So does Lash Blast work? This mascara works…but it’s not a superstar.
What I Like About Cover Girl LashBlast Mascara:
Length and Volume. In addition to offering decent length, Lash Blast offers respectable volume that’s superior to most non-waterproof, volumizing drugstore mascaras.
Mostly smear-proof and smudge-resistant.
Clump-free. Feel free to load this stuff on. It takes a lot to make it clump.
Ease of Removal. Comes off easily with soap (or in my case, Cetaphil) and water.
What I Don’t Like About CoverGirl LashBlast Mascara:
Loosens Lash Curl. Though not as big of a problem for Lash Blast as it is for most non-waterproof drugstore mascaras, I found that this mascara still uncurled my lashes slightly. The good news is that this problem can be remedied somewhat by “over-curling” your lashes and then allowing the Lash Blast to loosen the curl a bit.
Some flaking after about 6-8 hours of regular wear.
Brush Design. Though the uncommonly big brush does a good job of thoroughly coating lashes and preventing clumps, the lack of a tapered tip on this blunt-ended brush makes it a little difficult to get to those tiny and corner lashes. This isn’t a deal-breaker, but I feel like it’s a significant enough detail that CoverGirl shouldn’t have overlooked it.
The Bottom Line on CoverGirl Lash Blast Mascara: The curling issue prevents me from fully endorsing Lash Blast as a drugstore alternative to Too Faced Lash Injection, which I’ve grown to really like. In all other respects, however, the two products are actually pretty similar.
If you’re looking for a budget-friendly deal on a volumizing mascara that’s easy to remove, Covergirl Lash Blast is a good choice.
Covergirl Lash Blast is available for about $7 from wherever you get your drugstore beauty fix.
I really liked the effect this mascara had on my lashes.I am a mascara freak and i try everything new there is and this gave me what it promised...great long lashes..no clumps..great mascara!!
After I hearing rave reviews about it online I decided to get it because I was looking for a better mascara than my L'Oreal Voluminous mascara that kind of made my lashes look spidery after being open for awhile. Although it took awhile getting use to the big brush, I think what they did for my lashes was pretty good. It made my lashes look thicker and longer. Not only that, but the price is pretty good too. What more can you ask for? Apparently I can ask for the waterproof version to be oil proof as well (I've got oily lids). Although I really wanted to love this mascara, I couldn't. Not too long after applying it, it started to smudge on my lower lid underneath my lower lash line. It happens every time i put it on! / Hopefully it'll work better for all of you.
