wasn't very impress with this item either .. after reading what someone else had said ..i guess i'm not the only one that wasn't very impressed with their mascara .found mine to be hard to get anything on the brush ..they say don't pump the brush ..but to get some on ..thats actually what i had to do ..
I know a lot of people are loving this mascara and I had high hopes for it. I was so confident in fact, that I purchased a 2-pack of it at Costco. I don't know if I got a bad batch of it or what but I found it to be very mediocre. I couldn't get enough of the product on to the brush to coat my lashes nicely. It reminded me of how mascara gets when it;s on it's last legs, sort of dry and hard to use. I gave up on it after only 2 uses and ended up chucking the second mascara in the pack out. After seeing my neighbors mile long lashes today, she said she used Maybelline Stilletto, I've decided to give that one a try next.
I bought this product and found it was no different then any other mascara. It didnt do anything special for my eye lashes and personally would not recommend this product to anyone unless you want to waste your money.
I bought this product today because the shelf life of my Maybelline Pulse Perfection mascara was nearing it's end (That's right ladies, mascara should be tossed every 4-6 months as described on the bottom of your tube. If not, you will not get the length or volume promised, you'll get tons of clumps, and of course, loads of bacteria). I picked up Lashblast finally intending to take the plunge into a different brand after hearing so many raves. Unfortunately, I wish I had stuck with my Maybelline.
Lashblash did nothing for my lashes on the first coat. No, it has taken four coats for my lashes to look even close to 'voluminous', and still far from lengthy - something that was achieved though one coat of my Maybelline. My lashes are clumpy and the coat is very sticky (possibly due to multiple applications, but who knows). The wand is very large as well, leading to ugly black streaks across your eye lids while you try to reach those tiny lash roots.
All in all, I do not feel this product is worth the price charged for it. I grabbed this one on sale, so I do not feel as ripped off as I might have. Unfortunately mascara is all about trial and error- what may work for 99 others may not work for you, and the only way to determine that is to take the plunge into the unknown.
I for one will be going back to my Pulse Perfection.
I only have a few things to say about this product.
1. It clumped on the lashes and the brush
2. did not like the brush
3. did not dry fast
I just had to mess with it sooo much to make it look good. To much work for my "on the go" looks. It should not take that long to apply mascara.
i would not recommend it.. there are much better ones out there.. so save your money for the good stuff!!
Again, bought this one cause of all the hype. It didn't deliver volume for me at all. Is the formula different in the U.S. than in Canada? Guess I'll try something else.
I bought this product after i heard my cuzns go on and on about it ; to say that i was a little disapointed would be an understatment! the brush clumped my lashs together, which was not the most plesent experiance.
I am a natural red-head with very little clear small lashes and believe it or not = this brush was so big - I could not get it lose to my lashes!! What little I did get on seemed good but not much use for me. I am so sad as I find it very hard to find a good mascara and trust me - I have tried a lot of them.
Don't believe the hype or the commercials mascara lovers!! I tried it and it was awful, the wand is huge so it didn't 'grab' my lashes, I found that I had to put like 8 coats, and I kept having to wipe under my eyes because it kept rubbing off all day. Overall, don't buy it!
