Okay so for a waterproof mascara, this product is pretty good. If you want something to last through a day at the beach or by the pool then this is the right mascara for you. My only problem with it is that when I did want to take it off it was like cement! I tried two different makeup removers and still had a hard time removing it. But I guess that's what you want with a waterproof mascara.
IWhen I first bought the CoverGirl LashBlast Waterproof Mascara. I loved it. it went on my lashes beautifully, and it was not until about three weeks that the mascara started to become thick and hard to use. and so had to buy another CoverGirl LashBlast Waterproof Mascara. Because I loved how my lashes looked when I used the CoverGIrl LashBlast Waterproof Mascara, I will continue to use it.. Thanks I love the LashBlast Mascara.
This mascara was hard to apply. It was thick and extremely hard to remove. It did not have full coverage and I felt that it did not lengthen my eyelashes, it only made them thick and clumpy.
THIS WAS SUPPOSE TO SAY>>> FUGHEDDABOUTIT!
I always use waterproof mascara no matter what. I typically opt for the LashBlast Fusion mascara (purple bottle), but my sister swears by this one (non-waterproof), so I decided to give it a try in the waterproof version.
1. The brush is way too thick. I keep getting mascara on my eyelid and it's nearly impossible to do my lower lashline with this brush.
2. I find that the mascara doesn't reach all of my smaller lashes, sometimes creating "bald spots" in my lashes.
3. As I mentioned, I always use waterproof, but I don't typically find it all that difficult to wash off. This mascara is a different story. Even with waterproof makeup remover, I have a hard time. I end up leaving some of it on which then makes my next mascara application clumpy.
I won't be buying this again. I think I'll stick with the Fusion or even the Maybelline Falsies.
I've tried the original CoverGirl LashBlast mascara and loved it, so I thought I'd try this one too just for those rainy, miserable days. It did go on as well as the original mascara, but there were flakes EVERYWHERE whenever my lashes got wet. I would not recommend this particular mascara; it's worth it just to get the original. Nobody wants to see little black flakes on your cheeks.
After hearing how great the "orange" CoverGirl mascara was I decided to give it a try. I always like to have at lease one waterproof option in my mascara stash, so I opted for the waterproof formula.
Mistake? I didn't find that this was all that great of a mascara. It did get a bit better after the first use and it had a little bit of time to 'mature' but it just didn't deliver amazing results. It didn't really thicken, it didn't lengthen as well I had hoped. Overall, it was decent, but not worth a repurchase.
Great long lasting mascara that doesn't smudge!
I did like how this mascara really made my lashes look very full and black. It held the curl in my lashes very well and didn't smudge on my lower lashline (I have a real problem with this with any mascara). The brush was interesting, I found that if you aren't careful the short "bristles" can make your lashes a bit clumpy but it is easily remedied my applying a bit more gingerly or using a lash comb.
I probably would buy this mascara again but there are so many others to try!
This is a great everyday mascara. Its inexpensive, great quality, gives full lash effect, waterproof/smudge proof, and comes in a few different shades. This mascara in non-clumpy as well which i know is a real deal-breaker for some of you beautiful ladies out there. Try it for yourself, you won't be disappointed.
