Messy

The packaging is very nice and made me very excited to try it. When I opened it at first The applicator at first sight looked awesome, but I found with both colours I bought were very messy. I found it bled or was smudged. I did like both shades and I think the formulation would have been better with a doe foot applicator. Unfortunately it didn't work for me and it was very messy.

Good product, strange applicator

I have not rated this very well as it does not work in the way you expect it will. I actually do like the product. The actual formula of this is pretty good. The squeeze tip is so difficult to work with, if you want a fully coloured lip. You will either end up with too much or too little. Personally, I squeeze just a little bit and dab it on, like a lip stain. It adds just a little bit of colour, very pretty. So it actually does not perform as a lipstick, just as a lip stain? The packaging is a little misleading as to what you can actually do with it.

Covergirl Melting pout liquid lipstick

The COVERGIRL Melting Pout Liquid Lipstick truly does have a gel like texture, which makes it feel weightless on application, I have worn this out many times and was pleased each time. Since its more like a gloss of course when you eat or drink it fade overtime. The packaging is okay, I don't care for the look too much but the applicator oddly works well when you go to shape your lips, you could apply without liner. For lippie beginners it will be a challenging. I would of likes for the finish to be more consistent and less patchy.

Dupe for the New Bite Liquified Lipsticks

I was surprised at how well this performed because I usually don't like drugstore lipsticks. But this was very hydrating and stays on for surprisingly a long time. It has a glossy finish but the colour payout is definitely great. You just need to swipe on two or three times to get a full coverage. The only reason why I deducted a star was because I didn't like the applicator. I'd prefer just a regular applicator so it's easier to clean after.

Excellent, Non-Sticky Formula

I tried the Covergirl Melting Pout liquid Lipstick in colour "Gel-ful", a nice, neutral pinky-nude type colour. It's a super pretty colour that I am sure would suit a variety of skin tones and is perfect for a light, breezy summertime day makeup look!

The product itself is nice and lightly creamy and goes on smooth and easily thanks to the applicator which has a sponge type tip keeping the lipstick exactly where you want it. It isn't sticky at all but feels nice and moisturizing and has a really pretty sheen to it. It hung in there through my morning before I needed to apply more. I love that it didn't get smudge away quickly as some lipsticks of this texture do.

Really, really love this colour and am looking forward to trying out other colours soon as there are some more dramatic ones available that look fun.
