I purchased this product in the past. I think I should have continued to use it as people were asking me why I was glowing. Of course I recommend this product. Great product would love some more
Covergirl + Olay FaceLift Firming Makeup gives you a facelift effect without the expensive and dangerous procedures of a real face lift. After two weeks, your skin will feel tighter and feel younger looking. You can actually feel the lifting and tightening effect with the first application. It helps diminish your pores and gives your skin a very smooth, youthful glow. I use a moisturizer under my foundation and the combination of the makeup and moisturizer felt a little thicker than I am used to on my skin.
Overall I rate the product an 8 out of 10 and would recommend it to friends.
My final review of the Covergirl + Olay Facelift Firming Makeup
Overall I gave this product a 7 out of 10.
Pros— healthier-looking skin, diminishes pores, firms skin, pleasant fragrance
Cons— Feels a little thick on the skin, little to no sunscreen
The product wasn't what I thought it to be , the price was a little high, and I couldn't find the right skin tone and my blemishes were still quite visable but not the worst product
I really liked this product, to have a moisturizer and a cover cream in one saved my time and money. It seemed to last all day but as the day wore on the cream felt like my skin was in plastic wrap. If it was not for the plastic feeling of the cream (wearing it all day) I would keep purchasing this product. I have gone back to my original cream, I want to thank you for the opportunity to try cover girl cream.
The foundation works well as a cover up and it is vey whipped and goes on smoothly. But I saw no results in face lifting or tightening or line diminishing. Basically it is a very expensive cover up.
Pro: Glides on effortlessly. No pulling or tugging
Pro: Full coverage provides a flawless airbrushed look
Pro: Colour matches skin tone well
Con: the bottle design. You have to lift the little tabby thing and it gets quite messy. A lot of wasted product ends up on my fingertips and sometimes on the floor when it falls. a pump would be a nice design
I had a chance to try this product and I was quite excited to see what it would be like as I really love almost all the Olay products and some Cover Girl as well. Well firstly I don't use foundation, I stick to BB and cc creams as they are so much lighter on my face. I used to use foundations a long time ago before my wrinkles started coming out. So I decided why not give this a try and see what it was like. It felt really nice and went on well but the coverage was not there at all for me and it also started settling in my pores. I was disappointed as this one was a foundation I thought I could really wear but it just did not work for my skin. I am not sure how long this would last on the face as I just had to take it off when I saw the product settle into my wrinkles and pores. Even though this did not work for me I am sure it would be fine for some women.
I found this product to be "just okay". It is a little tricky & messy to get out of the jar as the opening is not very large. I do like that it has the pull-back stopper to help keep out germs but it does gather quite a bit of product on it, which is what I find makes it a bit messy to work with.
Coverage was okay, the shade was a perfect match for my skin tone, but it still looked a bit "cakey" on my skin, & I have combination skin. I used this product daily for a full week in conjunction with the De-Puffer Concealer in order to see how both worked together, and again, it was just okay.
I will continue to use both, but I don't think it will be part of my regular daily beauty routine. I will keep it with me as my weekend getaway stash, & will use it when I am running out the door quickly, but for the price-point on this product, I won't be rushing out to purchase another. There are too many other products available that work so much better for me.
