More suited to the younger woman?
I’ve tried many foundations, but never found one that I really like so I was really hoping this would be the one for me. The colour I tried was 210 Classic Ivory which on me was more orange than pink. The pump action works well and I prefer this method as it’s more sanitary. It does give you an even skin tone and doesn’t dry it out. Unfortunately, that’s about the only positive thing I can say about this foundation.
I can only assume my wrinkles are too deep and/or too many because the foundation didn’t reduce the look, but rather accentuated them. Those with sensitive skin should probably avoid this as shortly after application my face started to sting.
I can only conclude that this probably isn’t the right foundation for older people or I’m just really lousy at the application which is why I gave it three stars and not less.
Great for coverage
This product is not my first choice although it works really well. There’s sunscreen in it as well so your face is protected all day. I have a few big acne scars on my face and this helps to cover it completely.
This stuff is pretty expensive for the drugstore. I wouldn't mind, but it makes my skin CRAZY oily. I have combo skin but usually lean more dry skin in the summer. I wore this stuff last summer and my skin was sooo oily it was unbearable. I couldn't keep using it. The coverage wasn't bad so I guess it depends on your skin type. If you have super dry skin you may like it. It does smell really good!
I found the Olay/Covergirl foundation to be very average. I used to like it when I knew less about what a good foundation should do, but now that I know more I wouldn't recommend it. There are just so many better options out there for around the same price point.
I want more coverage from a foundation, this is very sheer. It feels wet on the skin and takes a long time to dry down. It breaks up quickly on my oily skin. I don't like the way powders sit on it either.
The more I say, the less average it's feeling, but I will leave things there. There are much better options, especially for 'older' skin.
This foundation provided me a good base for long days with only one application. It is a great choice for a tight budget. It blends well with other covergirl products
That foundation is really overpriced for a drugstore foundation. It is really creamy and thick, does not hold well on the skin and the colors available are not suitable for really fair skintones.
Tried this brand and not 100% satisfied. The coverage isn't as full as I was hoping and it seems to lay in the facial lines. I normally use Cover Girl Simply Powder and I think I will stick with this going forward.
I'm not a huge fan of cover girl products. The positive to this item is that it's a cream foundation, which I find hard to find. I prefer cream over powder and liquid. This product doesn't blend well and looks unnatural. Still searching for a good cream foundation.
The product seem to dry out very quickly. I didn't like the applicator that came with the product either. It seems to be better if I used my own brush and added moisturizer to it.
I found this foundation a little too cakey for my liking and it sunk into my fine lines. The coverage was great otherwise. I would not buy again.
