Before using the Cover Girl + Olay De-Puffer Concealer I was wondering, would the cooling effects of the metal tip applicator really work? After upon using the concealer, this is what I found. I noticed the cooling effect of the metal tip along with tge cucumber extract ingredient and the Olay rejuvenating serum really helped diminish the look and the feel of the puffiness under my eyes, the metal tip applicator really is cool to the touch, it also has a remarkable coverage factor for the dark circles I have under my eyes, I also use a little bit on my cheeks because I have mild rosecea and it covers it right up! I like to keep mine in the fridge because it makes the metal tip even cooler which feels really good when it's mid Spring and Summer time, I use the #310 Fair BUT, I might have to get a darker color for Summer because the Fair is really light! I truly love this concealer, it makes me feel fresh and renewed all over again! You can get this at Walmart and I believe at Target too!

I've never liked using a concealer before. I always found them thick and heavy, only accentuating the fine lines in the eye area. I would definitely suggest this concealer with it's cool tip that is refreshing as you apply.

I have been using Cover Girl Olay De-Puffer Eye Concealer for about a month now and can't imagine going out without it. The coverage is great. It blends very well with my skin-tone and it truly reduces the puffiness under my eyes. The dreaded under-eye wrinkles are not as visible either. Easy to apply if you use your fingertips but the shiny metal end of the tube is useless in my opinion. They suggest using the "cool" metal tip to blend in the concealer under your eyes- but I find it pulls that tender skin too much and does not blend well at all. Patting on with your fingertips will work the best. I have very sensitive eyes and this product has been just fine. No irritation at all. I will definitely be purchasing this again in the future. It is a little pricey but that small tube goes a long way.

I really enjoy using this product. The cool tip helps de-puff underneath the eyes, and the concealer covers the under eye area really well!

I tried Covergirl Olay The De-Puffer Eye Concealer and this product is so amazing!! It is so easy to apply with a steel rool on tip, making it a hands free application under your eyes. As this is the best way to apply it under your eyes hands free. The product made my eyes look brighter and younger. It took away the black and puffiness under my eyes. I must say it also make me look quit a few years younger (maybe 20 yrs. younger). Absolutely love this product!!

Pros: light-weight, packaging (the lid is designed so that the product doesn’t get clogged where it exits), very slight and pleasant scent, contains cucumber for cooling and soothing properties.

Cons: Price (sells for approx. $15.00), some may not like that it’s not completely fragrance-free.

~ My Experience

The concealer comes in a tube with a metal tip. The idea is to dispense a small amount of the concealer, then rub the metal tip along your under-eye area for 30 seconds. The cool metal will help reduce puffiness. My under-eye area did feel cool and refreshed for quite a few minutes after application. Coverage was good, the texture is beautiful and the product is a dream to work with. It’s nice and creamy and blends easily under the eyes. It didn’t look cakey; it’s light-weight, comfortable and didn’t fade or crease after several hours of wear.

~ Final Thoughts

I don’t know that simply applying a metal tip to the area can actually reduce puffiness. I also felt I used more product by applying it with said metal tip because in order to avoid any pulling or dragging sensation under my eyes, I probably applied more than I would have if I had of just simply used my fingertips. I’m fortunate in that I don’t experience a lot of issues with dark circles or puffiness under my eyes, so for me, this concealer did the trick and easily dealt with any eye concerns I have. The consistency is a little thin, so if you deal with dark circles, you will likely have to layer. And at this price point, it just got a little more expensive for you.
