What I like about this is how long I have been able to use it. It's just like a marker but this one is never running out. I've added this to my routine by using it as a base colour underneath just gloss, or under both lipstick and gloss. It's easy to use and provides just the right amount of colour. It's also slightly scented and flavoured like fruit. Because it is a marker I store mine on my vanity standing straight up with the marker tip pointed down so that it won't dry out when I'm not using it.

This product works well, a little bit drying but I find it is somewhat hard to remove at the end of the day. I guess they mean it when they say LipStain!

I recently got a CoverGirl Lip Stain for Christmas from my sister and have started finally wearing it. I love it! the color lasts, and stays put. There are so many colors to choose from. I love that fact that it doesn't dry out my lips, so I don't need to wear both chap stick and a lip color.

I am a big covergirl fan, but this product misses the mark. The stain does last but by no means is it even.

I tried this product and I really liked it. Yes it makes your lips dry, but applying the lip balm that comes with it makes my lips smooth and bright. . Make sure you apply an even thick coat of the lipstick in the morning so that the color stays consistent all day. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. Great product!

I'm a bit torn on this lipstain.
At first, I loved it.
Some people mentioned that it dries out your lips, which is true. I expected it to dry out my lips, so that part didn’t faze me.
It’s definitely necessary to use a balm after a lip stain like this.
The applicator is easy to use. It’s like a marker, so you just have to colour your lips!
My problem was that over time it does wear off and when it does it’s not wearing off evenly. It leaves you with a coloured ring around the edges of your lips which looks ridiculous. It’s not easy to get off either! Besides that my only other complaint is that the product dries up quickly, even with proper care.
It’s definitely worth a try though.
I tried it because frankly I was sick of getting lipstick on my teeth.
I might buy it again, I’m not sure. But it’s definitely worth a try :)

I bought a lovely one in a light pink and actually really love it. It gives my lips a nice subtle splash of colour with the marker style making it easy to apply and it stays on all day or night. I just find with most lip stains I have bought I have to apply, keep a tube of clear lip gloss in my purse so my lips don't dry out like crazy. But I always do that anyways since I've always been prone to dry, cracking lips anyways. (Especially in the Winter.) Over all I think it's a good bang for your buck from the drugstore.

I have two, in 400 and 440. One's a Berry Colour, the other is a nice Red. I think the colour stays long for a lipstain but i think the product dries out and it's a sad sight. I've been thinking of purchasing many more. I like the Marker and the size. Its not awkwardly long or wide. I think these are great for everyday wear

From the other reviews, a lot of people don't think the lipstain is that fantastic, but I LOVE IT!!!! First of all, it smells good, and if you accidentally lick your lips while wearing it, it tastes good too. It stays on for a long time, and makes your lips have more color that really makes them pop.

I have always preferred lipstains to stick or gloss and preferred Cover Girls brand. But when they came out with these marker types I really wanted to give them a try. So I bought one this morning and as soon as I got home I tried it on. It goes on nice, wet and didn't make my lips feel dried out like some others have. It also doesn't just go on and stain the only place you apply, it actually blends nicely when you pucker your lips for an even coverage. It doesn't have any kind of perfume taste which is a nice plus for us sensitive gals. Makes your lips feel completely naked with a nice colour application for the Summer.
