I usually love their product but this one did not cut it for me. F The brush is just enormous and it was hard to get in the corner of my eyes. It also clumped after 2 weeks.. very dissapointed...
I love this mascara. I have long eyelashes and they didn't clumb. Even if its waterproof it is very easy to remove it. It keeps the eyelash curled but you need to use a eyelash curler but after that, they stayed curl.
I've been using the same mascara for over 5 years. So when it comes to trying a new one, I'm always a bit scared. My best friend told me I neeeded to try this one. I bought and... Went straight back to my old one. First of all, I'm not a fan of plastic brushes. The wand on this mascara feels way too big. You can barely put it in the tube and I feel like mascara doesn't spread well on the brush. It is also very akward to use because of it's size. But for overall experience, yes my eyelashes look longer and bigger.
I use plumpoify blast pro very black from cover girl for a few weeks. I think it's a good product to use, if you would like to have plump and volume lashes. I like instant lifting and volume effect that it gives to my lashes. Only one negative thing about mascara is that it's tacked time to get use to the brush, but with few try's it gating better. I like new and unusual design of the brush for their performance. The round tip of the brush helps to reach all your lashes.
I have been using CoverGirl mascaras on and off throughout the years. The price is right, and generally the quality is better than I anticipated each time.
Plumpify BlastPRO in Very Black does a decent job of living up to higher end brands.
The mascara tube itself is easy to grip, and my hand stays steady during application.
The first few times using this mascara, I had to triple dip the brush in the mascara, as the brush was new and thus not thick full of mascara yet.
I do find that mascara goo does end up on the tip of the brush, so I tend to rub the excess off in the tube, or try my best to avoid using the end on my lashes.
I`m a one-coat kind of girl, and this does a nice job in one coat.
It also does not clump on my lashes – always a bonus!
I am able to rub my eyes without mascara smearing over my face, and even while working out my sweat doesn`t seem to make it come off either. About the only thing that works to take this mascara off is a good eye make up cleanser.
It also does not leave specks of mascara underneath my eyes application, so it dries rather quickly.
It doesn`t give me 50x the boost though…maybe 10x, but it has no more punch to it than my other mascaras from the LashBlast line.
I did do a comparison with one of my favourites – it is pictured below. I used Roller Lash (Benefit) on the left eye, and Plumpify on my Right eye, and there were minimal difference. Benefit`s mascara was a bit thicker on the base, but length and coverage were very similar – very impressive considering the cost difference!
So other than the Goo at the end of the mascara brush, I really like this mascara and would recommend it as an alternative to pricier brands.
*** I received this product at a reduced cost for my fair and fabulous review ***
No matter how much extra time I give myself, I am always late. My make-up is down to its simplist form, mascara, eye shadow, and some form of lip gloss or balm. So when I tried COVERGIRL® Plumpify Mascara I was familiar with their line of cosmetics. What has always bothered me was that every couple of months these cosmetic companies come out with the next big thing in mascara wands. It has "fine bristles to get in there and coat every lash" or it has "big, brisels and bold, fierce colours that by the end of the night, you will have locked eyes with every guy in the room" but "the only thing that matters is that you are leaving with "him" and those eyes of yours and that stare he won't soon forget." So now to my Plumpify experience. I am COVERGIRL® but not a huge fan of this mascara and their "biggest brush ever." I found within the first few times of applying the mascara on the wand there wasn't even distribution. The bright red middle portion of the wand did not coat and the tip held the most mascara which did not apply properly on the lashes. It clumped, lashes stuck together, not defined or gave volume and my eyes have been irritated. When I blinked, I had wet pigment below my eyes, in my eyes and on my eye lids which required me to use extra time to get out my make-up remover and Q-tips to clean up my mess. I'm sorry but this is a pass for me.
Thank you for the opportunity to review this mascara. I love to review products and this sadly was not a good one.
I like that the bruh is nice and thick. The brush and the masacara however did not do what it is supposed to. I found it to clump and that the mascara did not really make your eyelashes look any larger or longer. It actually just seemed to clump and not provide very good coverage for a mascara.Sadly I would not recommend and would maybe ask the company to revamp the applicator a bit and provide less clumps and a better coverage for eyes.
the package shows eyes that had a dramatic effect fromt he mascara and this did NOT do this :(
Plumpify defines and thickens my lashes without adding clumps. My eyes look bigger and brighter! I always look for performing, waterproof mascaras, and this one does the trick.
I have very fine lashes. I could not get the applicator to apply enough mascara. I tried using another applicator and was not happy with the quality of the mascara. It started to flake and fall off by mid day. I would not use this product again and I've been using covergirl products for many years.
