Great Mascara!

This product was easy to use and the wand was comfortable to use. The product provided great lift and volume, and the formula was also very hydrating and not dry and flaky.

This mascara is great! One of the best I have tried. Goes on nicely without clumps! Looks good all day and doesn’t flake off, so no little black bits I’m under my eyes! I will continue to use this mascara o my!

Clump-Free Defining Mascara

Thank you @thisisbutterly and @covergirl for the opportunity to test and review CoverGirl Simply Ageless Lash Plumping Mascara in Black.

This mascara is 3-in-1: Primer + Serum + Mascara. It is infused with hyaluronic acid and bamboo serum for instantly plumped and volumized lashes and thicker, longer and stronger lashes in 4 weeks. The brush is curved and wide, whereas, I prefer a straight, tapered brush to more precisely coat the outer lashes. I like that the formula is buildable and did not clump. I also like that the mascara didn’t flake off during the day. I applied 3 coats to my straight and thin upper lashes and I wasn’t able to achieve the level of volume that I can get with just 2 coats of other mascaras. This mascara removes easily and is compatible with my contact lenses.

I was very excited to try this Simply Ageless Lash Plumping mascara. It's a 3 in 1, primer, serum and mascara. I'm very impressed with how it held up and lasted all day. Loved the big application brush.

Lovely mascara

Have you ever tried a product that was a primer, serum & mascara in one? Not me. So I was very curious what Simply Ageless Lash Plumping Mascara would do for me when Butterly and Covergirl gave me the chance to try it free in exchange for my honest review. 


It sounds fabulous, infused with Hyaluronic Acid and Bamboo serum, in 4 weeks lashes should become stronger, thicker & longer. Meanwhile, the mascara should make lashes look instantly plump and volumized. And cruelty-free!


I only started testing it, so I can't speak to longer-term results. The gently-curved wand has the type of brush I look for in a mascara as I find it best defines my lashes. The brush is a bit big for my eye shape and size, so a bit hard to get into the corners, but even with a few coats I get some volume without clumping. My stubbornly straight lashes have a hint of curl! I had a touch of flaking after a few hours, pretty normal for me.


The mascara was easy to remove by micelar water, as it my usual custom when I remove makeup before the end of the day. 


Overall, a lovely product!

Covergirl Lash Plumping Mascara

I received the Covergirl Simply Ageless Lash Plumping Mascara courtesy of Butterly in exchange for my honest and unbiased review #gotitfree.

The mascara is a 3 in 1 which contains primer, serum and mascara. It states that it can instantly plump and give your lashes volume. You will achieve thicker and stronger lashes in 4 weeks.

This is my first time using a 3 in 1 mascara and I noticed that it applies on easier than regular mascara. I love that fact that this ageless lash plumping mascara contains hyaluronic acid. I only applied 1 coat as it was enough and I was afraid of it being clumpy. My eyes were not sensitive to this formula and I really enjoyed using it. I haven't used it for 4 weeks so I am not sure if my lashes would be longer.

I would definitely recommend this mascara to those that want longer and stronger lashes or those that wear mascara daily since it wouldn't hurt to try and it contains hyaluronic acid.

I love how the slightly curved applicator makes applying the mascara easy & effortless! But most important how long, voluminous and lush it makes my lashes look with only one coat Not to mention it’s long lasting & can survive through a hot humid day! 👀
