Smudges Easily in Humid Temperatures

Butterly and Covergirl sent me the new Covergirl Simply Ageless Lash Plumping Mascara to test out in exchange for my honest review. I love that this mascara contains Hyaluronic Complex and Bamboo Serum. This mascara also doesn't cause itchy eyes. Although this contains Hyaluronic Complex, I found it smudged easily. I really wanted to love this, but it just smeared and it was also tough to get off. I found I needed to use a heavy-duty oil balm and let it sit to avoid finding mascara on my eyes the next morning. I did see a bit of improvement in terms of it helping strengthen my eyelashes. I've been using it for almost 3 weeks and although they feel hydrated, I'm going to have to pass. The intent is there, but I feel having hyaluronic acids in mascara only spells trouble for smudging as the mascara won't dry and bind properly. I would be curious to see how this worked in the winter when it's drier and not humid; I feel that launching in the summer didn't give this mascara a good start.

Too clumpy for me

This mascara is effective without much effort. I applied a couple of light brushes on my eyelashes & they looked fantastic. I liked that it didn’t make my lashes feel heavy like some other ones I’ve tried. My biggest complaint is that it is very thick and so I found myself trying to get rid of the excess mascaras on the brush before getting to apply it.

Not enough volume

For me this is not the mascara I’m looking for. Personally I like a volume look It does separate your lashes beautifully and builds up but doesn’t add the volume I like in a mascara.

This could be an awesome product for others. Just not what I want in a mascara.

Nice but thick brush

The mascara is nice but the brush is pretty thick. I felt the mascara got more on my lids than my usual brand. Overall, I probably wouldn't buy this. Sorry

It's ok

I often have high hopes when trying new cosmetics.... and this one was a bit of a let down. I've recently purchased other lower priced mascaras that apply nicer and wear longer.

Not terrible but not my favourite

I got this 4 days ago and I’m not sure of I love it yet. I’ve always been a fan of cover girl but I just find the wand to be very thick which makes it hard to distribute it we evenly on my lashes. Not sure i would buy it again.

Still Unsure What Ageless Lashes Are

I was selected to try Covergirl Simply Ageless Mascara for free. I am pretty open to new brands, using mascaras from $5.00 to $50.00 over the years with similar results. Having used this mascara now for a week, I can still honestly say I have no idea what an 'ageless' mascara is supposed to do differently. I don't really think of my eyelashes as old. I can say positively that this mascara, even in two coats, doesn't clump and does give you the appearance of having more lashes than you do, although not any longer than what you already have. So if you are looking for very natural but fuller lashes maybe this one is for you. Didn't make a huge difference for me

Thanks to @thisisbutterly I #gotitfree to try in exchange for my honest review.

So I put the new Covergirl simply ageless lash pumping mascara on my left lashes in the picture, the right lashes are au natural! As you can tell there isn't a whole lot of difference to be honest, I also applied quite a lot just to get to where it is there. To me there is nothing really special about it, it's just a normal mascara. I appreciated the opportunity to test try it out though!

Not bad

This mascara isn't too bad. It went on really smooth and the brush is nice. There's so many products out there that clump up because the brush isn't that great. I've only worn it for a couple of hours right now, but I just got back from a 30min walk to my local grocery store and it's absolutely brutal out with the heat. My face has been sweating but the mascara still looks pretty good. I also put on 2 coats and it layered well. The only thing that I would say that makes it not great is that it's not SUPER lengthening. I like my lashes to pop and this isn't doing that for me. But overall, it's a good product from what I can tell. Perfect for everyday use. :)

Not to Bad

It’s not a bad product. It seems thin and I find a lot of clean up after. And it constantly feels like there is little specks in my eyes for a good hour after apply. Mind you it looks fantastic once my eyes re adjust.
