Just ok

I wanted to wait to review this mascara so I could give it time to see if it had any lasting effects that it claims like longer lashes, plumping etc. but unfortunately I didn’t see any of those results. The mascara itself works fine but doesn’t provide a “plumping” effect and it does begin flaking after a long day of use. I wanted to love this mascara but it left me wanting more. I’ll stick with my regular brand for now.

Cute packaging is about as good as it gets

Was pretty disappointed in the effectiveness of this mascara. I had to apply 3-4 coats before I started noticing any difference in my lashes. I liked the wand and tube.

Not for me

I started using this mascara on July 19th with the claim that in 4 weeks I would see thicker, longer and stronger lashes. I received this Covergirl Simply Ageless Lash Plumping Mascara for free in exchange forcmy honest review.
As someone with fine, fair lashes mascara is my number 1 makeup item I use daily. The ingredients of this product made me have high hopes for this buildable formula. The first time I used it, I enjoyed the pigment- I really enjoy a true black mascara. I thought the brush was a bit larger than I preferred but it was OK.
I didn't notice any real difference with my second coat.
Over the next few weeks I used it daily. I found the product get clumpy and I had to wipe down the brush before using. I also noticed by the end of my work day, I had mascara under my eyes and I would also get stinging and need to take it off.
After 4 weeks, I'm giving up. I don't feel like my lashes look any longer or healthier. This product is just not a winner for me.

Basic Natural-Look Mascara

This was a nice basic mascara. It didn't clump, and provided a natural and lengthened lash look. However, even after applying many coats, I didn't see much difference to one coat. While it did lengthen my lashes and provide definition, I did not find that it provided much of a plumping effect.

Overall ok mascara

Overall ok. I think this might work well for shorter lashes/ those focused on lengthening. I have naturally long lashes & found the wand brush a bit thick for separating them & made for a more messy application.

Didn't work for me

My lashes are super stubborn and almost never hold a curl with anything that isn't waterproof. I wanted to love this mascara because it gives great length and volume however it didn't hold my curl which is the most important for me.

Didn't work as advertised

I found it to be very clumpy, and it certainly didn't plump my eyelashes. I did like the fact it's supposed to be a primer, serum, and mascara in one. I was really hoping for this to meet my expectations, but unfortunately it failed. I tried multiple coats and still got the same results

Smudged on me

I recently got to try the Covergirl Simply Ageless Lash Plumping Mascara for free thanks to @thisisbutterly @chickadvisor and @covergirl in exchange for a review.

I have extremely short sparce lashes and it did lift them and created some volume so you can actually see them.
However after a couple of hours of wear, it started smudging under my eyes and on top of my lids creating racoon eyes that I had to constantly fix, and dealing with that during my friend's wedding was horrible. But thats on me for trying something new during an important event lol.
Nonetheless, very thankful for the opportunity! Let's see if they can come out with a waterproof version in the future

Not the Wand for Me

I definitely did notice my lashes curled up and were more visible when using this mascara. However, I no longer enjoy using these types of wands/brushes. They do not separate and coat nearly as well as silicon/plastic brushes. I personally would not purchase this product again.

Good for a natural look

This is an OK everyday mascara if you’re going for a very natural look. The effect is very subtle - just a little added colour, length and volume to the lashes. The best thing about the formula is that it’s completely clump-free; unfortunately, it also smudges a lot and gives me raccoon eyes within an hour of application. For this reason, It’s not a favourite for me.
