Va va voom lashes!

Cover Girl Simply Ageless Lash Plumping Mascara

I got to try Cover Girl Simply Ageless Lash Plumping Mascara in black (thank you Chick Advior and Butterly). The product is hypoallergenic, cruelty free (yay!) and claims to instantly plump and volumize lashes. It's a 3 in 1 primer, serum and mascara. The brush is quite thick and I didn't have any problem applying the product to my lashes. There was the odd clump on the brush before applying the product. When applying the product but after applying two coats my lashes were seperated and didn't clump together. My lashes were a bit more defined and appeared to look slightly longer and a bit fuller. I did find the product does smudge (the product I tried is not water proof) and I had back rings along my lower eye lid at the end of the day. The product was easy to remove, it came off with my facewash wash. I find the quality, defination and seperation abilities of this product similar to a number of other brands including both drugstore and higher-end mascaras that I have tried (from Maybelline to Benefit). The product does seperate and slighltly plump but I wasn't blown away by the results. If you want something at an affordable price point this mascara is worth a try.

Simply Ageless Lash Plumping Mascara Review

I received my Simply Ageless Lash Plumping Mascara a week ago to review, and I have loved using it. The wand is larger than some other mascaras, but it's fairly easy to apply and doesn't clump on my lashes. I do two applications per eye, and the result is pretty, without being overstated. It's easy to take off as well at night with some makeup remover. The overall look isn't too dramatic, but simple and pretty. Overall I would recommend this product!

Love the wand!

The packaging is simple yet effective, no loud colours, exaggerated fonts, etc. The features and benefits are listed well and the mascara itself is of a good size and easy to hold in the hand. The wand is great to separate the lashes and does a great job of covering them too. I personally love the spoolie. What I didn't like is how it got slightly clumpy after multiple coats. I usually only use one coat but I decided to try three coats and I noticed that the ends were getting a little clumpy. Other than that, it went on smooth and each lash was covered and separated. My lashes curled well too and looked great. As for the claims of thicker, longer and stronger lashes, perhaps long term use would prove that. Over all a great mascara to use for sure

The verdict:
💟I did enjoy this mascara for a quick and effortless daytime look. It gave my lashes significant length with one to two coats.
💟I use an eyelash curler and it did help to keep my lashes lifted and curled as well as many of the prestige brands that I have tried previously.
💟It was easily buildable without clumping or flakes and lasted throughout the day without smudging. In warmer weather that's pretty impressive!
💟I suffered no eye irritation and this mascara was easy to remove with my usual eye makeup remover.
💟What it lacked? Buildable lash volume. How to rectify for a more dramatic or nighttime look? You still have to use a primer.

I'm a mascara junkie and have no less than 20 different brands currently floating around in my makeup drawers but Covergirl's Simply Ageless Lash Plumping Mascara did impress me. Especially for the price point!

If this mascara helps to condition lashes and avoid fallout or dry brittle lashes with long-term use, then it REALLY is a solid investment.

Nice for everyday makeup

I live wearing this mascara for daily makeup looks. It adds nice lift to the lashes and easy to remove. However, when I need my eyes to be bold and lashes voluminous I feel this does not do that good a job.

Decent product

It goes on smoothly and the brush is a nice curved shape. Will continue using it for the next few weeks to get the full effect it claims, but so far I’m impressed.

Silky Full Lashes!

Really enjoyed trying out the new "Simply Ageless" Lash Plumping Mascara by CoverGirl. It was very interesting to discover a mascara brand that includes primer, serum and mascara. What a great concept! It really plumps up my lashes, and was very pleased to discover that it wasn't clumpy and lasted a long time. It even includes hyaluronic acid in the formula! Highly recommend and look forward to buying in the future!

Shocking lashes

I really like this mascara and how it leaves my lashes with a very natural look. The formule its creamy and it feels like a serum. This mascara layering well, and it doesn’t look clumpy. The wand is a little bit curved and thick, and it has a regular bristle. This mascara is long lasting, it doesn’t leave any flaking or smuggling. This mascara is not waterproof but does stay put and doesn't end up all over. It makes my lashes look so wispy with one layer. It is very comfortable to wear and washes off easily. I love that it doesn't flake or cause irritation.

Great value mascara

I am grateful for the opportunity to try Cover Girl’s Simply Ageless Lash Plumping Mascara (black) in exchange for my honest opinion.
I usually buy brown mascara and many mascaras tend to blur and smudge on my face. The first thing I liked about this product is the purple colour of the exterior, as I find it easy to locate on my make up table. The best part of the mascara is the application wand, which has many bristles and helps to accentuate lashes, without clumping the product. I wore this product three days for 4-5 hours and it didn’t clump or smudge frequently, although I did use a cotton ball to clean under my eyes in the summer humidity once. My short, light eyelashes needed two coats and my eyes were not irritated by this. I think this mascara is a great product for the price. The following colours are available, black, soft black, dark brown and water-resistant black.
