Not great

I was provided a free sample for my honest review with Butterly. Unfortunately this wasn’t quite up to par. I didn’t find that it was pumping or lengthening at all and was just OK.

Not impressed at all

I got to try this mascara for free thanks to chickadvisor/butterly. I really wanted to like it, but in all honesty, it did nothing for me. I've tried so many more mascaras that have worked far better than this one. I feel like it made my lashes quite dull. I use it on my bottom lashes too and it was difficult, the brush is so bulky that the application was terrible. My eyelashes seemed more sparse with this mascara compared to my regular one that I use. Normally, I like Covergirl mascaras but this one wasn't it.

Messy and bad for short lashes

I was excited to review this product as it promised volume and lash pumping. Some thing that my lashes need as I have short lashes. The first thing I noticed was the wand or brush is incredibly thick if you don’t have long lashes all you end up doing is coating your eyelid almost like eye liner.
When you try to apply the mascara towards the base of your lashes it ends up getting all over your eyelid and clumping. It could possibly be an effective product but it’s so incredibly messy I couldn’t get it on well enough to see. All I got was black smear all over my eyes and I gave up after two tries.

Wasn't a fan

I received this product for free to try out. I was really excited. Unfortunately, the product did not volumize my lashes at all. The brush was nice, however the mascara itself does not do what it's labeled to do.

I received the product to try and unfortunately it’s absolutely awful. The worst mascara I have ever tried. I used it for a bit when just doing things where I wasn’t in social situations as it applied like garbage. I mean the wand/brush is so poorly designed I don’t know how this product had the go ahead to be produced. I continued to apply it thinking maybe once it’s been used a few times it will apply better. No. The mascara itself may be a good product but the brush is terrible.

Not impressed

So I tried to love this mascara, I really did. I curl my lashes every day and every time I tried this mascara it made my lashes uncurl with every application. I didn't find it buildable, it stayed wet for a long time. It didn't give me the length I was used to either. It just does not have a new place in my make up drawer unfortunately.

Easy to apply, but very crumbly

I liked that this mascara applicator had an arch shape, so it fit my eyelashes better than other mascaras. When I applied the mascara, it was crumbly and not very smooth. I could see small chunks of mascara on my lashes and powdery residue on my face. It was difficult to apply the mascara smoothly (despite the nicely-shaped applicator) on my lashes, so I gave up after a few tries.

HORRIBLE!

My lashes went all clumpy and I couldn't separate them! I had to find a clean brush and soak it micellar water to de-clump my lashes. Awful. Started back from scratch with mascara primer the next attempt, and still clumped up! Grr.

Not what I expected

I was so disappointed in this product. It flattened the curl in my lash and looked worse than without wearing mascara at all. I feel like for whatever reason it just doesn't work with my lashes???

I was expecting more

As my headline states, I was expecting more from a lash plumping mascara. I did receive this free from ChickAdvisor, but I was completely disappointed. It did nothing different than the many other similar mascaras out there. I certainly wasn’t expecting it to look like I had giant, fake lashes but it just looks like my own, normal lashes. I found it also clumped easily and it was quickly black under my eyes, without even putting much on. Not something I would buy or recommend, unfortunately. #covergirl #crueltyfree #simplyageless
