Wonderfully Light

The colour I tried was Translucent Light - 2. This is a light weight powder that you can wear with or without foundation. I couldn’t detect any scent, so I see no reason why this wouldn’t be good for those with sensitivities.

I found application using both a brush or the supplied sponge produced equally decent results. I like the design of the compact because it’s one of the easiest ones to open. Overall, I like it and see no reason why you wouldn’t either.

Blends well, does the job, but the puff is flimsy

This is not the best translucent powder I’ve used, but it’s far from the worst. Given that it’s a drugstore brand and the pricing reflects that, it’s pretty good! I prefer colourless translucent powders and found this one was a tad too dark for me, on par with having a light tan.

However, I was quite impressed with how well it blended. While my skin looked a tiny bit powdery, it didn’t sit on top of the skin or catch on the hairs and look awful, like some I’ve tried in this price range. The compact comes with a mirror and a puff (which does fit inside).

Speaking of the puff, that’s my one big complaint about this product. It works well (though I prefer a bigger puff, it’s small to fit in the compact), but it’s far too flimsy. After applying, I washed the puff, like I usually do, but when I pulled on it a little to squeeze out the water, the whole thing ripped apart.

My recommendation would be for Covergirl to strengthen the stitching on the applicator so this doesn’t occur, but you can always just use your own brush or puff. Overall, it’s a good powder at a fair price point.

I would buy this product again and again

I love this product and love that they put skin aging products in them. I’m getting older and still have great looking skin and love the feel of this on my skin

Good pressed powder

This powder is amazing it has a really nice texture and is very mattifying. There is a nice shade range and it feels weightless and is definitely not cakey i find it works just as well as my too faced pressed powder

I have very fair skin and use the transclucent fair. A perfect powder, does not cake or crease and goes well over other foundations. Lasts through out the day and very affordable and easy to find.

Not the worst, but not a good match for me. The color was good, but even when using a little, it looked as if it was caking. It didn't blend properly with my skin and didn't last long. Oil was appearing on my forehead shortly after.

I've bought two of these so far, so it can't be that bad!
Not the best powder ever, but pretty good for what it's supposed to do.
Be careful not to apply too much as it will give a very cakey look!

Thanks to the recent store closing, I bought a bunch of new makeup to try and I loved this product. The blend is perfect. It truly blends your colour tones across your face. Love it. I need a darker colour for summer and I'm sure I'll be buying this again.

It swipes across your face effortlessly, whether you use the provided applier or a brush. It lasts a long time and great for them days when you don't wanna wear a lot of makeup.
