Great creative toy

My daughter (9yrs) got this for Christmas and has so far used it only the once but the braid she made has been worn almost every day since. It is a bit fiddly to use but we quickly got the hang of it. The original one unfortunately did not work when we put the batteries in and it had a loose kind of rattle. The only negative of this toy is that the hooks are bulky black things that really spoil the look of the finished article. I resorted to binding over the cord ends with contrasting coloured cord to make it look neater before attaching the braid to a fancy hair clip. It looks fab now.

Very confusing

Very confusing. My daughter was struggling with doing this one, and I tried to help her. However the instructions were not clear enough to me,and so it was put away until my brother was able to come help her. I would strongly urge the company to make the instructions more clear for future reference.
