My Fancy Male Rats Love it!

So in all honesty the box is decieving. It smells interesting, honestly looks like vomit covered in stomach acid. However I offered it to my male fancy rats and they adored it! Couldn’t scoop it out they knocked it right out of my hands! For a human, I wouldn’t recommend but you guys could have a market for wet food for fancy rats.

I grabbed this product to try, thinking the low sugar content, and high protein should make for an okay frozen entree.

The taste was okay, the balance between the sauce/stuffing/turkey not bad as well. The texture of the stuffing was a bit chewy, and the turkey was fine.

But it is salty! There’s about 48% of the recommended daily sodium in this. It’s way more sodium than anyone needs to eat in one meal. I wish I would have checked the sodium before I purchased it. If you have blood pressure issues, or heart concerns, this product is not for you.

The entree itself is a good serving size, it wasn’t unpleasant to eat, but because of the sodium I will not purchase again.

(Side note: I purchased the chicken enchilada one as well, but will be giving it to someone else to try for feedback)

I'm truly torn on this frozen 'meal'. The taste is actually really good and you can tell as it's cooking they used some nice herbs / spices. However, it's not a meal, it's part of a tv dinner. Pieces of turkey, some sausage meat, a few bits of celery and peppers, a bunch of bread crumbs and the sauce (gravy), all tasty but the dish needs more. If they added some mashed potatoes to the tray maybe that would change my opinion.
