H-okay!

I was super excited to review this! When the FedEx guy came I was like Eeeee!! (haha... but seriously)

I've tried other (cheaper) brands for the whitening strips but I found this one to be the most effective and most easiest to apply.. and.. most best.. tasting? There's not really a taste to it, but that's what's great about it!! When I put on the cheaper brand whitening strips, your teeth had to be DRY. Soon as your teeth were moist, they would slip right off and they tasted horrible!! Crest is easy to apply and stays put until you want to take it off.

PROS:

EASY TO APPLY: it took me under 5 minutes to apply these strips top and bottom - and that's because I was being careful

NO TASTE: The taste was kind of there, but nothing that made your nose scrunch up. I was pleasantly surprised.


CONS:
WHITE FINGERS: My fingers that were used to apply the strips got a little bit white, but that's normal according to the packaging. It wasn't a big deal, just goes to show how powerful the whitening agent is.

TEXTURE: I suppose whitening teeth isn't going to be perfect in every way, but the texture was really kind of gross as the time went on. I couldn't wait to take the strips off.

REMOVAL: The removal was strange as some parts of the strips were as what it seemed to be glued to my teeth, but I removed them with close to no problems.

SENSITIVITY: This was stated in the instructions as well, that teeth sensitivity is normal to experience after using Crest whitestrips. I have sensitive teeth to begin with, and after using these my teeth (especially the bottom teeth) were very sensitive for a few hours.

PRICE: They are pretty expensive... I don't know if I will buy it.. I might try and do a whitening tooth paste challenge to see how it compares to the white strips. But if you need quick white teeth for pictures, I do suggest getting this product, it really makes a noticeable smile!



So when 2 hours was up, I was VERY happy to take the strips off. It was a pretty long and grueling 2 hours I must admit... But alas! It was easy to remove them and I had a couple of spots on my teeth (normal too) but I rinsed my mouth a few times and brushed my teeth, and Voila! I was impressed with the results! My teeth were noticeably whiter than before. I attempted to take a before and after pic - but, i did two different light settings so they are completely different and not a good comparison (my apologies). But believe me, I could DEFINITELY see the whiter shade results! Very very happy with this product and glad I have more applications for down the road!

I was really excited to give these a try. My teeth in general aren't too bad, white but not too bright. I did notice a difference with the first application. It was rather easy to put on, but I would have appreciated if they would specify which was the top strip, and which was the bottom. The taste took some getting used to, but they did come off really easily when it was time to take it off. The only downside was that I did get some pain in my teeth about 12 hrs afterwards, and some sensitivity for about 2 days, but those were the only negatives.

First off, I had never used any kind of whitening except for toothpaste... which didn't work much if at all.
I have a unique issue, I have two false teeth that are bonded next to my front teeth on the bottom row. Teeth like those don't whiten with nay kind of purchasable methods, and only whiten from a dentist-procedure.

My teeth were fairly yellow, almost to the point that it was kind of embarassing. You also could tell the colour difference between my false teeth and my real ones. When I saw this product review become available I jumpped on it.. and got it! :)

They were difficult to put on.. at least for me. But I had no experience whatsoever in wearing whitestrips. My teeth were sensitive afterwards, but I normally have sensitive teeth, so after a couple of brushings, I was fine.

As for whitening, I definitely noticed a difference. My teeth now aren't as yellow (although could probably use another session or two to get the nice white shade), but now they're about the same colour as my false teeth, which boosts my confidence a little and I dont mind smiling anymore :)

The result wasn't exactly as much as I was expecting, though, and for those that are, you might want to look at other options before purchasing this one.

I would recommend these white strips to anyone who has fairly white teeth, but want them to be a bit brighter. My teeth are fairly white and but I had some discoloration on one of my front teeth. After using the strips, my teeth were a little brighter and the discoloration was reduced. The difference was less noticeable on me than what the before and after picture displayed shows.

The strips were easy to apply and non irritating to wear for the two hours. I had some tooth sensitivity that lasted for 2 days after using the strips. The box contents should last you for the whole year, so the value for the money is great.

I've tried white strips in the past but have found either they didn't stay in place or had to be used often to get results. This product was much easier to use. The strips were very easy to apply and I could see a significant difference after using them just once. The price is very reasonable for the quick results - I would definitely buy these in the future!

Firstly, thank you for the opportunity to try this. Was it me, or did somene else notice it doesn't specify upper or lower strip?...I guess you're to use common sense but I would have liked concrete directions. Very easy to apply, a little uncomfortable taste at the start, but one gets use to it. Stays on great for the 2 hours, and comes off with a little effort. I like the idea it's every 3 months. Hubby noticed difference, and I'm looking forward to the next app. So simple to use and would definitely recommend to family and friends....thanx for the confidence boost, CREST!!!!!!!

When I saw Crest 3D White Professional Effect white strips advertised on TV, I was very interested in them! When I was given the opportunity to try them I jumped at the chance! Unfortunately, the effects are far from what they advertise. In fact, they’re not effective at all, and I am glad I didn’t have to waste any money on them.

After 2 hours of wearing the strips, my teeth did not look any whiter whatsoever. My before and after photographs—taken in the same lighting with the exact same settings—show no change at all. Looking at my teeth, I notice no change. How disappointing.

The first 20 minutes of wearing them were pure agony. My teeth ached, my gums burned... it was awful! After 20 minutes, the pain and burning stopped and the 1 hour and 40 minutes I wore them after that were without problems.

For the first 2 days after having the strips on, I would get random gnawing shooting pain in several of my teeth—lower middle, and upper left. These teeth had never been sensitive at all before, and I hope they never are again! The ache was terrible, I would get the most sudden, deep, almost sharp throbbing pain.

For the first 2 weeks after, when I would eat hot, cold, or even lukewarm food the tops of my lower teeth and the bottom of my top teeth BURNED. I kid you not, they burned! Even with ice cold water! I could not chew very well, as the very pressure on my teeth hurt.

The week long pain would have been worth it... if the white strips had worked. Because they didn’t work, it was just an agonizing experience I could have done without.

The one thing I really liked about the product was how well they clung to my teeth, but if they don’t whiten... who cares how well they cling to my teeth? I sure don’t.

If the product had worked the cost is actually really good: You get 4 strips in the box, and you use 1 every 3 months. So for $59.00—the cheapest it sells for here—you get a year’s supply. It works out to $15 for every 3 month whitening session. But again, it doesn’t work, so don’t waste your money. Spend $3 on a whitening toothpaste, you might actually get whiter teeth with them... and if you don’t, you’re only out $3!

I received Crest 3D White Whistestrips 2-hour Express through the Chick Advisor PRC. I've used Crest whitening strips before, but have not used them in a few years. I remember using the one week and two week kits and finding that the strips were really thin and flimsy and that it was difficult to keep them on my teeth even for the 15-30 mins. The 3D White Whitestrips were nothing like the old one and two week kits. The strip felt much thicker and was significantly more sturdy that what I remember. When those strips were placed on my teeth, they weren't going anywhere! When the two hours were up the strips were still holding onto my teeth like crazy, but it didn't hurt to remove them. The only issue I had was with the bottom strip. I tend to have over-active saliva glands (so much so that even my dentist has trouble working on my lower teeth, they have to stuff my lower jaw with cotton absorbers and replace them every 10 minutes...), and this caused the lower strip to be smothered in saliva (even though I held my mouth open for the full two hours). As a result, I found that the gel on the strip was overly diluted and that my bottom teeth did not whiten nearly as much as my top teeth. The whitening that I did notice (mostly on my top teeth) was subtle but definitely brighter than my teeth were before. I didn't notice any white dots on my teeth (which I'd noticed with older versions of Crest white strips).

As far as sensitivity goes, this product made my teeth super sensitive for about 20 hours after taking the strips off. I didn't feel any sensitivity or pain during the two hour treatment. The sensitivity started about 3 hours after the treatment and lasted for most of the following day (I put the strips on in the evening).

The instructions that were included with the product were not at all helpful and didn't actually say which strip was for the top and which was for the bottom (both top and bottom are in one wrapper on the same plastic backing). The only way I knew which strip was for which set of teeth was by looking at the pictures on the back of the box. The first picture shows the two strips on the plastic backing with a longer strip on top, the next picture shows a smile with the strips already applied... I guessed that since the first picture showed the shorter strip on the bottom of the plastic backing, that it was for the lower teeth. It would have been nice to have some more detailed instructions about what you can and can't do while the strips are on. I remember a while ago seeing an ad about Crest Advanced whitening strips that said you could drink water with the strips on, but the 3D white whitening strips didn't make any mention on this on the box or in the limited instructions.

I have to admit that I found it difficult to find a time in my day where I felt I could go without drinking anything, speaking at all, and have my mouth handing open for a full two hours. It was incredibly difficult to speak with the strips on, and laughing made me feel like the strips would slide off. Despite applying chapstick every 15 minutes or so, I still felt like my lips were really dried out after using this product.

I wasn't expecting these strips to give me a brilliantly white smile, so I wasn't disappointed when the whitening was fairly subtle. The chart on the back of the box does indicate that the 3D white 2 hour kit will not give professional whitening results, but will "brighten" your smile. The kit includes a year's worth of treatments (4 pairs of strips) and the limited instructions say to repeat every 3 months. I might just do it again 3 months from now to see if the brightening is more noticeable with repeated treatments done according to the recommended schedule.

Overall I think I would recommend this product to a friend if they wanted a slightly whiter smile and didn't have the time to use a one or two week system. I did the treatment just three days before I was the maid of honour in a friend's wedding and it was convenient to be able to do it last minute. If you really want a smile that's noticeably whiter, then the longer treatment systems that Crest has are more effective as long as you have the time!

I love Crest Whitestrips and these are by far the best so far. After wearing them just once I saw a HUGE difference in the colour of my teeth. I did find, however, that my teeth were a bit sensitive afterwards, but this didn't last more than a day. Overall, this product is fantastic and worth every penny and any tiny bit of sensitivity. I would definitely recommend this to everyone and would purchase it for myself as well.

I've used another version of Crest Whitestrips in the past, and I was very pleased with my results when using it. I was excited to try the 2 Hour Express Whitestrips, because putting the strips on for 2 hours, once every three months, is a lot easier to remember than once a day for 2 weeks. I usually didn't remember to keep using them after a week or so.

These strips were very easy to use. They stuck on really well, and didn't slide off at all during the 2 hour time period. I did experience sensitive teeth for the next couple of days after using it, but it did go away entirely.

And for the most important aspect of the review... the whitening. I have to say that I was a tiny, tiny bit disappointed in the results. I had gotten much whiter results using the 2 week strips. But my boyfriend did notice a difference, so it does work. I will use them again in 3 months. Very easy, very fast. Maybe the results weren't as dazzling considering my teeth were not that yellow to begin with.
