Let me state at the outset that I am very famliar with the Crest family. I've used them all, more than once. They all work. They all work well, it's more a question of what is most important to you.

Over the weekend, I met the youngest - 2-Hour Express - for the first time. And before I compare him to his siblings, I'll give him my full attention.

2-Hour Express is exactly what it sounds like. A rapid 2-hour whitening treatment. Although I got my box on Tuesday, I waited until the weekend because who has a 2-hour window these days? I figured I could work them into my routine while doing laundry Saturday morning. The strips seem longer than the other ones. It stuck on well and stayed on for the full 2 hours.

As you can see from the photos - they work (top - before, bottom - after). Pictures don't lie.

I was surprised that my teeth and gums weren't "raw" after the treatment. But I realized I spoke to soon. By Saturday night my teeth were really sensitive. The discomfort was constant and lasted until Sunday night. It's not unexpected, but I'm not sure it's worth the immediate whitening effects. The other systems I've tried may cause a little intermittent sensitivity immediately after, but nothing compared to what I experienced with the express treatment. The good thing is that you only need to use them once every three or four months. '

Taking everything into consideration, I'd recommend them. It's instant, especially if you don't have any sensitivity issues and just want a quick way to brighten your smile. If you're like me, and have sensitive teeth, I would still proceed, but with caution.

Now, as in all families, comparison breeds competition. Since they all work, I would break my advice down like this:

Most cost-effective: Vivid (you give up a little whitening power, but it still works)

Most whitening: Professional Effects (almost always whitens more than her siblings, but costly, even on sale)

Most immediate: 2-Hour Express (you save a little time and get instant gratification, but if you have sensitive teeth it may not be the best)

Most gentle: Gentle Routine (not as potent, and therefore not as effective, but still works)

All though I have only tried one strip treatment so far, I can definitely see a change in the color of my teeth. As for the strip itself, it was easy to apply. One problem I did have was the bottom strip would not stick properly but the stop strip was fine. The price is reasonable considering how expensive it is too whiten your teeth at a dentist. Overall a very good product would be recommending this product to all my friends and family.

I was excited to try this product as I am always trying different products to whiten my teeth but find the process lengthy and tedious. The instructions were basic and straightforward. The application was easy and not messy. However, after 30 minutes, it was starting to bother me...no tooth pain just build up of saliva and you could taste the gel. Once the 2 hours done, you had to rinse b/c the gel made your mouth dry. I noticed a slight difference in my teeth (a few shade lighter) but I think i was expecting a more drastic difference. The next day, my teeth had a light tingling sensation but it passed by the end of the day. I will give it another chance in the next few months but i may stick to the 7 day treatments where I have seen better results.

This is the first time I have used a whitening strip. My teeth are not perfectly straight and I found that, because of this, I had a difficult time getting the whitestrip, specifically on the bottom, to stay on in the beginning. After they were on however, the process was pretty painless. I had one area where sensitivity was an issue but that was short lived. I do agree with other users however in that by the 2 hour mark, the feeling of saliva under the strips gets to be a bit uncomfortable and it definitely feels good to get the strips off.

As for the results. I have to say, I definitely noticed a difference after taking the strips off. I think part of me was kind of hoping for a more dramatic result but there were definite results, regardless of my hopes, which was exciting.

I will definitely be using this product again and will recommend it to others. Regardless of the slight inconveniences that may have arisen, this product does exactly what it advertises in an effective and efficient manner.

This is only the second time that I have ever tried using a White Strip product. My teeth are very slightly discolored, so I had really high expectations that this product would be exactly what I needed.

The instructions are very simple and easy to understand. I had no trouble there whatsoever.

Applying the strips wasn't bad - a little sticky, but nothing to complain about.

After having them on for about 10 minutes, they really started to bother me. It didn't hurt my gums or anything, it was just really uncomfortable feeling saliva underneath the strips and the taste of the gel was very unpleasant. The bottom strips actually started to lift on one side after about 45 minutes. I was almost counting down the minutes until I could take them off.

At the 2 hour mark, I took them off and was extremely disappointed. I could not see a difference at all in my teeth. Perhaps my teeth are not discolored enough to notice a difference? I'm not sure, but to me, they looked exactly the same.

For the price of this product, I would definitely not buy it nor would I recommend it.

I have only used another whitening treatment in the past (I don't recall the name brand, but it was years ago and all I remember was squeezing some gel onto a rubber mouthpiece). I was selected, by ChickAdvisor, to review this product. This was perfect timing for me because I had a wedding to go to on September 17th; I probably would not have purchased a whitening treatment because of the cost involved. Applying the strips was very simple (although somewhat sticky), and the instructions were simple enough to follow. I really liked that the strips stayed in place, and didn't slide around in the mouth. The taste wasn't pleasant for me, and I did not like the gooey feeling ... even less when it accumulated in the mouth along with the saliva. Ew. In fact, the top strip kind of burned my inner top lip (at the corner of my mouth) ... perhaps it got stuck to it? Removing the strips was easy, and all the gooey residue left behind can be brushed away. I experienced tooth sensitivity while wearing the product, and I the next day I felt an ache in my teeth that wouldn't stop.

The end result: yes, my teeth did appear to gone a couple shades lighter. I must also include that the whiteness was only where the strips had been applied ... no where else.

Would I consider buying this product in the future? I'm not so sure I would. I have always used Crest; however, I'm not so sure that Crest has converted me to their 3D White Whitestrips 2 Hour Express Clan. I experienced a significant amount of discomfort while using the product. I don't think I'd like to experience the same again.

The facts remain:
-you do see a difference in the colour of your teeth

-it is expensive to whiten your teeth, so the cost of this product might be an advantage to some

-teeth sensitivity or discomfort isn't experienced by everyone

Although I wouldn't use Crest 3D White Whitestrips 2 Hour Express again, I would recommend that if someone was interested in whitening their teeth, they might want to give this product a shot. It's not too much time, or too many hours to invest ... and the results might be worth their while.

I'm glad that I received this opportunity; my teeth are just much too sensitive for this. I might consider trying the Crest 3D White Whitestrips Gentle Routine in future.

I received the 2-Hour Whitestrips through the Product Review Club and used them as the package directed. They did stick well to my teeth and were very easy to apply. Unfortunately, I didn't see much of a difference. I have used other whitening products in the past (toothpaste, other whitening systems) and saw much more of a difference. I don't know if I was expecting more of a dramatic difference with the 2-Hour strips as opposed to daily strips or whitening toothpaste, but I found the other Crest products to be much more effective.
I did experience a fair bit of sensitivity problems after using them and will probably just go back to using the toothpaste.

I could only use the strips for one hour for medical reasons, but that one hour made a difference! Cannot wait to see what happens in 2 hours. Even some of the stains that were there after the braces came off were lighter. I only wish the strips were longer to get the back teeth, maybe cut a strip up for the back.

I recently got these Crest 3D Whitestripes through the Review Club. It was great timing because I had a posh wedding to go to and was feeling less than stellar about the whole thing. The very first day I put a set of the strips on, which were very easy to apply, and began timing. They were super-easy to apply and did not slip or stray from my teeth for the entire two hours that they were on. As a matter of fact I had a bit of trouble trying to peel the suckers off my teeth, leaving a small amount of residual goo.

First off, I did not have any tooth sensitivity while wearing the product but I have to admit that the next day there was a dull ache that wouldn't leave my teeth. This only lasted throughout the day and I haven't had any problem since. The two hours didn't seem like an overly long period of time, as i was at home doing very little anyways. Why not whiten teeth while doing laundry!

I have to say that i have in the past used other whitening systems for both 7 and 14 days and have to admit that I saw better results with them. I don;t know if it was because I saw a gradual change in my teeth and so assumed that they were getting alot whiter or that the 2 hour system I was expecting too much of a change and only saw a slight glimmer. I see a small improvement in my teeth and a brighter smile. Just be warned that I did see a few white spots on the front of my teeth (where i panicked alittle but the box does address this) and they did disappear over a period of a day. All in all, I would use this product again as a freshening up of my smile but if I wanted a dazzling whiter set of pearlies I would look elsewhere.

This was my first time using a product like Crest 3D whitestrips. The instructions are fairly straight forward but I thought that adding a detailed picture of where to place the strips in regards to your gumline would have been helpful. I read the warnings on the package about the peroxide level in the strips and was a bit scared to place the strips close to my gums. I ended up placing the bottom strip too far away from my gum line.
My teeth are slightly dis-coloured close to my gumline so I was hoping that the strips would work their magic on that spot. As the bottom strip was too far off my gumline I had no such luck there, the top strip I placed in the correct position and still did not see much of a change as to whiter teeth. I think this product may have whitened the flat front surface of my teeth but not so much that there was a significant enough change in colour to notice. My question to Crest would be, are we supposed to see results after the first trial or after the year? (having used all the strips in the package)
I was going on holidays when I recieved my review package so I used Crest 3D whitestrips in the car on the way to my destination. This was great as it was a long enough time to accomodate the 2hr time requirement without needing to go into public. I recommend from this experience that you are near a bathroom when you take the strips out as they left gummy residue on my teeth which made me want to rinse my mouth out.
Overall I found that this product did not work for me but I am a loyal user of most other Crest products and will continue to use those. As for the whitestrips....I will probably try them again when the 3month time requirement has passed to see if there is any change but will not be purchasing a box on my own.
