I reviewed this product as part of the Product Review Club.
I used the Crest Pro-Health Multi-Protection rinse along with the Crest Pro-Health toothpaste and Oral-B Pro-Health toothbrush.
I liked that the rinse was not overly strong, but had a pleasant taste. If I were to use it without the other two products, I'm not sure that I would find it strong enough to give me the 'dental visit clean' feeling.
The price is more than I would pay for a mouthwash, so it would have to be on a very good sale for me to purchase in the future.
The product worked okay, but no better than my regular mouthwash which is half the price. I don't think I'd recommend it unless purchased as a system with the above 2 products and if it was a better price.

Thanks to the amazing people at Crest & Chick Advisor for giving me the opportunity to test and provide honest feedback on the Crest Pro-Health Multi-protection Rinse as part of the Chick Advisor product review club. Although I was super excited to try a mouthwash that contained no alcohol (see: no burning sensation!), I was pretty skeptical about the fact that use of this rinse may actually lead to staining. Although effective at battling garlic breath and leaving behind a feeling of "fresh & clean," I didn't like the aftertaste and had to discontinue using the rinse. Unfortunately, I would not use this product again.

The Crest Pro-Health Multi-Protection Rinse was not my favourite product to test. I think it does live up to its claims that it freshens breath and helps to maintain your teeth without causing that 'burn' feeling from many other mouthwashes. The problem is, I kind of like that burn. I had to keep reminding myself that it was probably still working, even though there was no burn. I also did not really like the fresh mint flavour that it comes in, it is kind of bland. My other dislike were the small, solid, blue-dyed flecks that I found in my sink after use. I'm not sure if they are in the mouthwash, if they are particles of food/plaque the mouthwash is removing, or what...but they stick to the sink. Every time I use the product I need to scrub out my sink to remove the very solid, very sticky blue specs. I didn't really find that appealing.
Lastly, the product is pretty expensive for what it is. I will likely stick to the mouthwash I typically use and not switch over.

I'm a Listerine fan I do not believe the hype that is given to any premium brands

I'm not a big mouthwash user but got this as part of the club.
It's ok. I normally use Listerine so I'm used to a punch in the face of freshness. This one was a little burn-y too, despite the lack of alcohol. It tasted ok, but had that weird after-taste that you get at the dentist after you swish with fluoride. Not a fan of that.
I will continue to use up the bottle but I don't think I'd buy this again. Maybe it's good for those that find Listerine just a little too fiery.
Also, what is up with the price? I hate that things that are so consumable/disposable cost so much. I suppose they expect you to get through the bottle in 2 weeks? That seems so high for jacked-up rinse water.

At first I was hesitant to try it, as most mouth rinses are really harsh and leave a bad after taste. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have that experience with this product, and really enjoy using it. The only thing holding me back is the price, which is a bit more expensive than I would like, but I may get over that as I really like how my mouth feels after using it.

I really liked how it made my mouth feel fresh and not overly strong. I don't think I would buy this product only because it is really outrageously priced, unless of course I got a fantastic sale price for it.

I received this as part of the Product Review Club (thank you!) but have to say, I'm just not a fan of this.
I love the idea of a mouth wash that is free of alcohol as I never feel like I can swish the normal stuff around long enough, but this one leaves a very unpleasant after taste. I used it after brushing and it tasted fine- strong and minty- but about five minutes afterwards a slightly metallic taste took over. I've tried this a few times and I just can't get past the after taste as it does linger and makes anything you eat afterwards taste terrible. So, overall, this is a pass from me.

I'm on the fence about the Pro-Health Multi-Protection Rinse I read other reviews on other sites where people complained about tooth staining turns out they even warn you on the back of the bottle that some people will experience this.
This is directly quoted from the back of the bottle "In some cases, antimicrobial rinses can cause surface staining to teeth. This is not permanent or harmful to tooth surfaces, and may be prevented by adequate brushing or removed at your next dental visit."
Despite that I tried it anyways I'm a risk taker and I like to think I'm not that small percent of people. So far I haven't noticed any issues with staining of my teeth. Though I admit it turned me off from this product knowing it could cause staining and it might require a dental visit to fix(you know how expensive that can be if you are not insured)
So on to the review of the product, the rinse claims "without the burning sensation of alcohol" well sorry it did burn for me but I tend to chew on my cheeks and inner lip due to anxiety and I only felt burning in those areas. So I would say it doesn't burn like alcohol based rinses.
I didn't like the smell of the refreshing clean mint it barly lasted and it left a residue in my mouth so I had to rinse my mouth out pretty well.
I cannot recommend this product because it hasn't performed better than my current and I can deal with the burning sensation since this one burns a bit too and its not a selling point for me with the mysterious possibly of teeth staining. They don't even mention how long that takes to develop. So that worries me greatly.
I'm really curious to read other views to see if anyone even noted the tooth staining warning on the bottle or people are just going to find out the hard way when some experience this. People read the bottle!
I will update this review if I experience any of the negative effects of this product.
Thanks to chick advisor and Crest for this review opportunity I enjoyed 2 out of the 3 products so I'm still a fan of Crest.

I like this rinse that it is not as strong or irritate as other brands because of its alcohol free. But when I try to gragle it for several minute, it kind of like bubbleling too much and make you can't hold the gargle, so you need to spit. Otherwise, it is a good rinse.
