Fun at first
My kids saw this game and just had to have it. They loved it for about a week then they no longer wanted to play with it. The fun of it wore off really fast. But still a good game for smaller kids.
Great Toy!
I received this product for free for testing purposes, all opinions are my own.
My son is 6 and he had a blast playing this game! It’s great for kids to get some energy out. The croc seems to have a mind of his own and my son loved being “chased” by the croc. My 9 month old daughter even loved it, I just let the croc roll around her and she got a kick out of it.
I highly recommend this game, only downside was the little barrier it came with was kind of cheaply made and didn’t always keep the croc in but that didn’t bother my son too much, he actually liked chasing the croc down when it “escaped”.
Kids loved it.
My children loved the Croc N Roll. The game kept them occupied for a while. The game kept them active. Different than the other games bc they actually have to get up and move.
Great fun for whole family.
I received this Croc and Roll game for free in exchange for an honest review, just in time for my children to need to play indoors due to the weather. The game was so much fun and encouraged physical exercise as the kids hopped and jumped around. They literally played for hours.Even the toddle enjoyed and started learning colors from listening. My only con would be the "fencing needs to be taller" as the croc would get out alot.Botton line this product is great fun for the whole family.
Overall fun and gets you moving
This game has been immensely enjoyed by my son. The game itself was easy to set up but I felt like it was a small little area for more than two kiddos to play with. My son soon took it out of the area and quickly was running around having "crocky" chase him around. I think it is a great fit to keep kiddos up and moving instead of being couch potatoes. I think the game is a fun simple concept . I would say the only negative is make the area kids play in bigger but the actual ball is a blast and easily can move around the house "chasing" my son.
Fun idea, could use some improvements!
I received a free sample of the Croc 'n' Roll game by Spin Master for my children to try it out and to share my honest opinion about this product.
While we love the idea and this game is a lot of fun for younger children, it could definitely use some improvements! The idea is that kids have to stay within a certain perimeter in a circle shaped area, which is defined by a small plastic border, and have to jump from lily pad to lily pad. Each child can only jump to their own color, and the croc ball can't touch the child. If it does, or the child steps off, they're out. The first issue we noticed is that the circle is not as large as it is pictured on the packaging, it is actually too small to fit all the lily pads and have enough space for more than two small children to be able to jump to their colors. The second issue we encountered is that the croc ball often gets "stuck" on the sides, without changing direction to come back. This made my children feel a little bit frustrated with the game, but a quick and easy solution I can recommend is that I tapped the ball to move it for them so it could continue 'chasing" after the kids to continue the fun! I suggest for the manufacturer to consider adding a few more side pieces to make the circle larger, so more children and even older siblings can play. My older kids would have loved to join in on the fun but the area is just too small.
Pretty different Toy
This product was very different than my son is use to, it was hard to figure out at the beginning but we figured it out. it s a different type of toy but that pretty cool that it is different,
Fun Game!
My daughter’s could not wait to play this game. The concept is very creative! The object is to only hop onto your colored Lilly pads without letting the croc ball touch you. The rules were simple and easy for my four year old to grasp. They had a blast playing! My only issue with the game is the barrier that goes around to keep the ball in is very finicky when it comes to floor surface. On our hardwood the ball would push the barrier with it and away from the Lilly pads. Carpet worked much better (although it occasionally would jump over the barrier.) Tile may be optimal for this game. My kids also had a blast with the ball itself and love chasing it around the house! Overall, this is a unique and fun game!
Not as Fun as Pictured
Unfortunately, I can’t say this was the funnest game for my kids. They are ages 3-5. The “lake” wasn’t big at all so it was hard for them to stay inside. The “lily pads” didn’t even all fit in the lake. The crocodile itself was funny but it would take a while for it to roll and try to touch them. After a few minutes they became bored and uninterested.
Perhaps it’s more of a game for older children. I really wanted to like this game more, but the kids just didn’t get that into it.
Great active fun!
My children love this! It’s so much fun and keeps them really active! My daughter has adhd so this is great for her extra built up energy. Set up is easy and game is simple to explain to the little ones. Our family got so many good laughs from this game! My kids want to keep playing it over and over again!
