One of the best decisions I made

I had my eye on one of those expensive dutch ovens, that are upwards of $400. However once I saw this one, on sale at Sears for $30, I decided to give it a try.
I now use it for everything, ranging from soups, to casseroles, to even deep frying.
The best part is that you can use it in the oven, and on the stove top as well. Therefore it is very versatile.

This is an amazing kitchen tool! It cooks evenly and things turn out perfectly when I use it. It is one of my very favourite things to use when I cook. The price isn't like Le Creuset, although I'm sure they are heavenly! This is a great alternative! I've had it a couple years now and it looks as good as new. You need to respect the usual cast iron rules to avoid rusting, etc but it is worth it and not hard to maintain at all. The ceramic coating makes it to easy to clean. Easy to use, effective, and pretty!
