I always opt to get cupcake wines. I'm more a fan of a Pinot Grio rather than a Chardonnay but this Chardonnay had a really smooth taste. I had it with Grilled salmon and garden veggies, superb!! Also the price point was quite low so I grabbed two bottles. WIN!!

It is like creamy, smooth vanilla going down, with an after "spark" of lemon. I say spark, because it hits your tongue and completely removes any smooth vanilla that the wine first tasted like at my first sip. Each time it did this and was neat. It wasn't a bad thing, and the lemon wasn't like lemon cleaner or something, it was like a sweet lemon meringue flavor. It was interesting, and did leave a clean palette and didn't have a hot sensation in my throat. It was smooth and soft on my throat. it didn't give me heart burn either. It gave me a vibrant warmth and gentle smile. 2 glasses was perfect and no headache.

I was given this as a gift for babysitting my neighbors cat. I am not a big wine drinker, and prefer red or a rose, but this was surprisingly good. I drank it on it's own, not with any food; just a glass sitting on the couch.

This bottle is a 2013 Central Coast White Wine and is 13.5 % alcohol, pretty strong for me, but it didn't taste like it had that strength of alcohol in it.

I don't know how much it costs, but if you are looking to try a new White Wine, if you like what I described above, go for it. I would recommend this wine.
