Just ok

I really want to love this product but it is not for me. Packaged well and a great size. Comes out the tube slowly so not product loss. The gel goes onto the face easily however the consistency is too thick for me. Good for sensitive skin as feels very gentle removing the make up. I would not purchase as it does not work as well as my other make up removers.

I received this product as part of the chickadvisor product review hub.
I don't usually use make up cleansers, but thought I would give it a go as it was free and they were asking for my opinion.
You apply this gel to dry skin, massage in and then rinse off with clean, warm water - it leaves skin feeling soft, moisturised and not greasy and above all.... Clean!

Best cleanser ever!

I use facial cleansers a lot to remove my make up but this cleanser was gentle on my skin and removed my make up effortlessly. I will definitely be swapping to this cleanser!

Perfect makeup cleanser

This really was a very good and effective makeup remover and cleanser, I have found others in the past to not be anywhere near as effective but this was very good indeed and i shall definitely be continuing to use in the future

Nice and refreshing

I don't tend to wear much make up - other than mascara and sometimes a bit of lip stick.
I found this simole to use, it left my skin feeling fresh before bed. It removed what little make up I had on effortlessly.
I probably wouldn't buy this again but that's puerly because I don't wear enough make up to Warrent the need for it.
The gel is lovely and cool to run into the skin and easy to rise off with a face cloth afterwards.

Gentle on your skin.

I love this. It has no scent at all and is really easy to use. It removes make-up and grime with ease. All my make-up comes off including waterproof mascara, which is a must for me as that is what i wear. I would definitely recommend this!

The best make up remover!

This is the best make up remover I’ve tried, it does it’s job quickly and effectively. Takes less than a minute to remove my make up. You put a cherry sized amount of gel on your hands, rub together and rub it on your skin to remove your make up and rinse it off. No need to use cotton wool or wipes. Make up comes off immediately and your skin feels clean, fresh and hydrated. It’s wonderful and I will 100% be buying again. A little goes a long way and my skin is glowing after I use it. It’s nice that my skin doesn’t feel stripped to its pore after using it too. Such an easy and effective process!

Does a fair job

I was excited about trying this after hype about the Japanese double cleanse. However, I was slightly disappointed with the performance of this product alone (as I think it should be reviewed as). I didn't especially enjoy the texture, and found it almost greasy, which is hard on my super dry skin! I think this could be overlooked if the product did an amazing job at removing makeup, but found it only smudged waterproof mascara down my face, which didn't come off after rinsing. On the plus side, when used with the foaming cleanser afterwards, my face felt clean and moisturised, but I don't think I would use it on it's own or purchase in the future.

Too much hassle

Unfortunately, out of all the Curel products I tested, this is one I would likely not be using again... I don’t like the gel feeling on my face and I don’t like washing make-up from my face. I like using cotton wool with a liquid or cream base feel. After I used this, all my make-up was not removed and I’m not one for using a lot of make-up. I had to use my own make-up remover afterwards as well. Overall it was a soft feel on my face, but that was the only good thing about it.

My favourite product!

I have used plenty of makeup removing products in the past but nothing has worked quite like this one!

Most products seem to leave small amounts of makeup residue on my face after using them but this product does an amazing job of removing absolutely everything! Even after a night out where I’ve used heavy makeup looks, it has no issues with removing it!

It is also so soft on the skin I don’t find that I’m scrubbing away to get it off, it removes makeup effortlessly and quickly! I have had no reactions whatsoever to this product, and it has left my skin feeling really refreshed! It also is not scented which I love as I find scented products seem to be a lot harsher on the skin.
