Oh my goodness, these cakes are so good for birthdays or special occasions in the summer! Depending on the flavour, you get vanilla on the top layer or whatever the ice cream flavour is, then fudge with a layer of cookie crumble, and the bottom layer is always chocolate ice cream. It's so delicious!! We have never had a problem with them! We always order in store.. haven't ordered online yet.

I have been buying DQ cakes for years, always for our 3 kids birthday parties as the grew up to this very day. It's also our special occasion cake for just about any reason we can find. We stick to the original cake, it is so good, everyone agrees!

Every time we have a celebration at work, we resort to getting a DQ cake! Our favourites are the strawberry short cake blizzard and cookies and cream blizzard. They come in variety of sizes and can be customed ordered if you call ahead of time. Price of the cakes are fair, can range from 20 - 40$ pending on how big of a cake you need.

DQ ice cream cakes are cool and all but in all honesty it's not worth it. It's a real fun treat when you have a time and a few people to eat it with but I find it being a ton of work to just cut and serve. I personally prefer normal cakes for bigger parties or birthdays. It's all about what you want though. If you like icecream cake then hey by all means buy it!
