I too received a $35 dollar DQ card. Thank you for that it was a wonderful surprise. I have never ordered or eaten a DQ cake before, we usually get our ice-cream cakes from an ice-cream parlor. I thought the website was very easy to order from. The selection of cakes was amazing, cakes and designs for every occasson possible and several sizes to choose from. After checking out the whole site I decided on a blizzard cake. It was a 10" round Turtle Brownie. It had brownie pieces, pecans and carmel on top and a fudge crunch center in the middle with white soft serve ice cream. It had a ton of the brownie and pecans on top and the whipped cream was delicious.The cake cost $32 and was fabulous. It was so big, well worth the money. It says it feeds 12 to 16 but we cut it into 20 slices and they were good size slices. We had the cake for a family gathering and it was a hit with both young and old. I would definitely order a cake online again and recommend it to anyone.
My only negative comment is that when I went to pick it up at my local DQ they could not find it in the store. I had to wait while they made one up. I didn't mind too much since it was just a basic blizzard cake and it was free. But if it would have been a special order cake for a special occassion I would have been upset or if I was in a hurry and didn't want to wait.
Regardless the blizzard cake was delicious and as I stated earlier I would order again.

Received the very generous gift card yesterday in the mail, plus this was a free contest for members to join. Wasn't able to order my DQ Ice Cream Cake online, but did go into the store and picked up just a simple ice cream cake for dessert this evening. At the DQ store I visited, the selection of cakes was awesome, I didn't know which pre-made design I wanted to choose from, finally after what seemed like an eternity, I finally picked one, there was also no special occasion, just a ice cream cake for dessert. The quality of the product as always is exceptional, overpassed my expectations 110%

We would DEFINATLEY consider ordering/picking up another DQ ice cream cake in the future, maybe try a Blizzard cake.

I was so excited to be chosen for this review, it has been a tradition in our family to have a DQ ice cream cake at our birthdays so I consider myself a bit of an expert on their quality and products. We ordered a traditional cake mainly because we all prefer the fudge crumble, because of that there wasn't much variety other then different designs. It was a bit fun to pick through them and choose the silliest one we could find. The in-store pick up was great, the staff was friendly and answered any customization questions we had. We didn't celebrate an occasion - it was a cake! we celebrated having cake. :) All of our birthdays had passed and I wanted to make sure to get a truthful review in so we just got one for the sake of celebrating a Wednesday. There's no other cakes like DQ's ice cream cakes so the quality was excellent, it's consistent and cream and it's hard to only have one piece. I would absolutely order it again and have (and will continue) recommended it to my friends.

Dairy Queen DQ cakes are the busy moms solutions to dessert! I entertain quiet often and the hardest part of any dinner for me is making dessert. This past week I was hit with a double whammy, large crowd and oppressing heat! Who wants to make dinner, let alone dessert.

Thank goodness for Dairy Queens quick and easy on line ordering. I quickly found the DQ website and a local location that offers cakes. I navigated the website with ease. Choosing the type of cake or cupcakes was the hardest part! You can choose from what seems an unlimited options. Choose your size, flavour, build your own cake, and even cup cakes. I ordered the Oreo Blizzard cake (because it looked so amazing).You will need to allow 1-2 days for on line ordering.

The big day came and I sent my hubby to pick up the cake. He came home with another cake (readily available for pick up) not the one I ordered. Silly me forgot to tell him that needed to mention my name, and that I ordered one on line. Luckily for us, the manager at the store happily took back the cake and gave us the correct one. Showing that DQ values their customers. It was refreshing to receive such amazing customer service, even if it was our mistake.

The big dinner came and went and everyone raved about the cake. No leftovers here. The best part of the whole experience was the convince, and that the dessert looked spectacular.

I highly recommend this service to anyone with a ice cream sweet tooth that wants a quick and easy dessert. Two big thumbs up.

I was lucky enough to win a chance to review a FREE Dairy Queen cake from Chick Adviser. I chose the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Blizzard Cake. It worked out perfectly since I wanted to do something special for my son going away to University. It was absolutely delicious!!! Everyone wanted more! I especially liked the fact that the tax was already included in the price of the cake. The wonderful staff were very helpful and enthusiastic and wrote on the cake for me. I received the Dairy Queen gift card for free to purchase a cake to test :) I ordered a blizzard cake and my store had a great selection and variety to choose from. When I picked it up in store, the customer service was fast and efficient. I picked up the cake cake to celebrate a late birthday for my daughter and the quality cake was amazing as all the quality of the cakes are amazing. I'd definitely consider ordering again online and recommend it to others :)

I received a 35$ gift card from Chick Advisor to try any of DQ's ice cream cakes, I purchased a 10" traditional cake, and gosh was it delicious, I also managed to share it with my hubby and 2 little ones (whom all loved every bite).
The variety was great when choosing our cake, but went with the traditional because it is what we all could agree upon. The staff were helpful and very friendly. I will defiantly be buying another in the future!

I was selected to take part in the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club testing group for DQ Cakes and i got a $35 gift card to try the Dairy Queen DQ Cakes. So the 10" Blizzard cake was for free.

I ordered a Chocolate Extreme Blizzard Cake and i loved the cake selection/variety, their was so many to choose from and they all looked so delicious. I ordered the cake on line and i went to the store to pick up the cake. The in-store pick up experience was really good, it went smoothly and quick. The service was outstanding.

I used this cake to celebrate my mother's 52nd birthday. It was perfect and I was able to serve all 16 of my closest family memers. The quality of the product was fabulous, it was smooth, creamy and delicious. Perfect for all my family members as we are all chocoholics. I would definitely order another DQ Cake in the future and also recommend it to my friends. Come to think of it my Father's birthday is in October and I will be going back to DQ for another cake...... gonna try the Oreo Blizzard cake.

I received the opportunity to try out a DQ ice cream cake for free. Ordering the cake was extremely easy through their website. I would have liked some other blizzard cake options - as there were only a couple so we went with the regular cake to celebrate my mom's birthday. The pick up process was easy and had no issues at all. The only downside to these cakes is trying to cut them! I've always known that you need to leave them out for a little bit before you decide to eat it, just so it can soften a little bit. The problem with doing that this time, was that all the icing just slid down the cake. (it wasn't even warm in the house) I've never had that happen before! It was an absolute mess to deal with.. and I still could barely cut through the cake!

In any event, I'd definitely buy a dq cake again as they are a nice treat. Maybe next time I'll try the torte!!! :o)

I ordered my cake (with the Gift Card I received from Chick Advisor) for my anniversary and was very pleased with it. I LOVE the creaminess, the crunch, the sweetness level. Superb! I ordered online for a pick up of 5pm the next day but my husband had a doctor's appointment at 315 so I thought I'd call and see if he could pick it up on his way home. I spoke to Suzanne at my store in Fredericton and she was outstanding! She said it would be no problem and she would do our cake next. I don't know why I don't buy all my cakes from DQ! :)
