Wow, how easy was it to order a very special cake for my daughter's birthday on line. The only bad thing I have to say is that there was just TOO MUCH to choose from. Once I found the closest location to me, I was able to scan the website for the special cake I wanted. With two days notice I was able to have special writing placed on the Blizzard cake of my choice and have it ready for pick up. This was an easy task and it was convenient to have the website. I have to admit that I hate waiting in line at the bakery and waiting for someone to write out a message on a cake that I just selected. This on line method was more to my liking and I could browse the cakes at my convenience. Again, the only negative for me was that I had too much to choose from! Ice cream cake is a nice change and it was delicious!

We received a gift card toward the purchase of an ice cream cake at DQ online. We have two Birthdays back to back and so were excited to try out the online ordering system for our cake.
We logged on to the site and entered our Postal Code. We chose the location closest to us and found that there were no selections available except for a Happy Father's Day cake. I continued to go through the locations until I found one that would allow me to custom design it. Although the location I chose was a bit of a drive I am very pleased with the results of the cake. It was ready on time and looked great. I requested my boys names in specific colours and for something Pirate themed to be added to the cake.
Although the locations closest to me did not offer the service I am very pleased with the caked I ordered and the online process was very easy.

The online system needs a bit of work. It is easy to use, however, for the store closest to us, not all of the cake options were available. For his birthday, my son wanted a rolo blizzard cake. The closest location did not list a rolo cake on their online ordering system. Yet when I called the store directly, they said of course they could make it. I placed my order over the phone with a very helpful worker. Overall, the company needs to update their online ordering system so that all cake options are available.

We ordered the large rolo blizzard cake with a birthday message inscription. We picked it up at the store and paid with my gift card. The cake was beautiful! The inscription was correct and beautifully done. The detailing on the edges of the cake were fantastic! It tasted delicious, but for a blizzard cake I expected a little more rolo-goodness on the inside. My son and his friends were thoroughly impressed and loved the cake.

Dairy Queen Cakes are awesome, but the BLIZZARD CAKES ARE TO DIE FOR, they are well worth the money, and affordable too :)

I really enjoyed the taste of the cake. It was rich and moist and the ice cream was to die for.

I was thrilled when I was chosen to review the Dairy Queen DQ Cakes free to test, by ChickAdvisor. We ordered a traditional DQ® Cake for our sons birthday party and were very impressed! The online process of ordering was easy to use and I had a lot of great options for different flavors and varieties. The pick up in store went easily and we were in and out in minutes. All of the adults and children at the party were raving about the taste and quality of the cake. It was the perfect blend of flavors and was very delicious.

I will definitely consider ordering another DQ® Cake in the future and will recommend them to other parents as well!

I was chosen to receive the gift card to review Dairy Queen and needless to say, I was ecstatic. My birthday was coming up so it would have been a perfect thing to receive. The online ordering process was simple enough however, there was no selection to choose the types of ice cream I want for the cake. All the cake shape and design selection have the same inside filling. If there are options to select other types of filling, I did not see them on the website. I chose the round Blizzard cake. It came with chocolate and vanilla soft ice cream and crunchy fudge. I called the day before to make sure the store I selected have my order and found out that they had the wrong icing colour and wording. They did corrected it but had I not called, I would have ended up with the wrong cake. The cake tasted like any vanilla and chocolate ice cream would taste but on the soft side. It's like ice cream that was left out to thaw. It did not taste that good. Overall, I would not recommend it. They need more selection, if they do have them, I did not see them and they need to make their website more user friendly. I was disappointed over my order.

I did receive the gift card to try a cake for my son's birthday. That was awesome! I tried ordering online and I found it to be somewhat confusing as to what personalization could go where...and every time you have to backtrack I found I had to re-enter the store that I wanted to pick up from. I was trying to figure out if I could put writing on their specialty cakes and never did get that answered online so I went with a traditional cake. It does give you a few options for personalization BUT it was a bit confusing as to WHERE that personalization was going. I'm normally very good with stuff like this so it's not just me in this case! lol.. We do enjoy their cakes, but i really wish there was another option for the middle - the hard crust seperating parts. I personally love it, but about 1/2 my family don't eat it..so I would love to see DQ come out with another option for the middle! Thanks again

Received the opportunity to try a DQ cake for free via ChickAdvisor. The online ordering process itself was disasterous--it went smoothly until I actually got to the store the next day to pick up my cake. No record of the order, even though I had my confirmation e-mail. After waiting 15 minutes, the manager finally tracked it down to another store that is supposed to manually forward orders that come in to the respective stores--that didn't happen. They also didn't have any of the type of cake I wanted in stock, so I ended up just picking a regular one out of the freezer. However, the cake itself was good, filling and just the right amount of sweetness.
