DQ Cakes are the best way to start or end any occasion!!! They are extremely tasty and so convenient. Love the amount of ice cream goodness mixed with that Delicious chocolate fudge crisp in the center. Priced great, easy to order or pick up and the kids and adults will be screaming for this ice cream cake.

I received a gift card from Chick Advisor to review the new online ordering system from DQ. I was quite happy with the ordering process itself. It was very user friendly and there were a lot of options. However I was not at all happy with the cake I received. We ordered a log cake for a good friend's birthday as it was just going to be myself, my two year old son, my husband and said friend for dinner. There was no icing on the cake at all, which was disappointing to say the least as that is our favourite part. The cake looked sloppy, the writing was terrible and even though I had specifically asked for Luc they spelled Luke instead. I was very embarrassed to be serving it. The cake tasted good, it just looked horrible. I think there is a lot of staff turnover at the store we used and maybe that is why the quality wasn't very good.

I was thrilled when I was chosen to review the Dairy Queen DQ Cakes by ChickAdvisor and couldn't wait to try out an ice cream cake.

We were originally planning to get a traditional ice cream cake for our two-year-old's birthday, but as I looked at the selection on-line, I realized that all of the choices looked amazing and I've always been a Blizzard fan, so we opted for the Blizzard Cake. We were not disappointed (except that we wish we could have had more than one :)

The on-line process was incredibly easy. We just picked out our cake and what we wanted on top and were informed when it was ready for pick-up. The in-store pick-up was simple as well, though it was quite busy in DQ when we picked it up (not necessarily a bad thing). I just used my gift card (from ChickAdvisor) and got it home with no mess.

The cake, itself, was awesome, and because we had the birthday party on a warmer day, it tasted that much better. The ice cream was not too hard and tasted fresh (not freezer-burnt) and yet it did not melt too quickly in the heat. Our son LOVED it and got ice cream everywhere (as all two-year-olds should).

We would definitely purchase another blizzard cake - not just for birthdays and such, but also for summer get-togethers. I really loved the blizzard cake and would need to try it in a few more flavours! I will also recommend DQ cakes to family and friends because they taste great and are so easy to order online. They are a particularly wonderful for summer get-togethers like parties and bbq's.

I was so excited when I was chosen to review the Dairy Queen DQ Cakes by ChickAdvisor, I mean any normal person would be excited and being pregnant I will admit I squealed - Ice Cream is this pregnant chicks BFF!

Originally I was going to order a traditional cake as I was going to use it as our gender reveal BUT things got hectic and I kind of couldn't wait to spill my beans so that idea went out the window. I then decided we would order the Blizzard Cake instead and celebrate as a family signing the lease to our new home we will be moving into as with our new bundle on the way we have outgrown our apartment. It was a big celebration for us (I know it is just a rental house) because we had such a HARD time finding a house to meet our needs and be in our budget. We were declined for a few homes we were so in love with and lost a few others to others who wanted immediate possession so when we finally found another home we loved and actually got to the end and signed the lease (just 12 days until we needed to move) it was not only a huge relief but something to seriously celebrate!

I loved the selection of caked in both the Traditional and Blizzard areas. There is honestly something that would wet everyone's appetite, I might just have to order another to celebrate us moving in as I am getting all drooly just thinking about it again!

The in-store pick up was so easy, quick and painless! I just popped in when my cake was ready, gave them my gift card (from ChickAdvisor for purpose of my review) and off I went with the delicious bundle in my hands. It was really hard to wait until we got home and had dinner to dive into it I tell you!

The quality of these cakes are awesome, I know in the past we have bought ice cream cakes from local grocery stores and sometimes they have an off taste like they are freezer burnt or on the verge of it but with the DQ Cakes they are made often and stored properly making for one heck of a delicious treat for any occasion!

Hands down we will be ordering more DQ cakes for birthdays (with 2 kids and 1 on the way we have lots of those) as well as just because cakes - like just because I am craving an ice cream cake on a random sunday evening! I will also recommend DQ cakes to family and friends because they really are delicious and easy to order online. They are a special change from the ordinary cake and make special occasions that much more special!

We ordered the Skor Blizzard Cake with a personalized message and it was incredible! The online ordering process was easy, the pick up was fast and effortless! I was invited to try out a DQ cake for free through the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club and I`m thrilled I did! It could not have come at a more perfect time as we were celebrating my Moms birthday September 19th.

I was happy to find that my local DQ does take online orders and the ordering process was very easy. There was a great selection of cakes from fancy blizzard flavours to basic decorated cakes. We ordered the Turtle Pecan Cluster in the 8`` size for 30.99 and not only was the cake perfect and delicious but much bigger than I had pictured in my mind. My order was confirmed in seconds and the cake was ready to go right when I requested pickup 3 days later. I was in and out the door in 2 minutes flat. I`m super pleased with my experience and will definitely be using the service again! Thanks!

I was fortunate to receive a gift card though Chickadviors Product Review Club in order to review the Dairy Queen DQ ice cream cakes. The opinion expressed in this review is solely based on my experience. I ordered a cake online, the website is pretty good but I had a hard time finding the "link" to the cake section...it's on the very bottom of the screen and wasn't "obvious" to my eye, expecially on a tablet device. In any case, once I found my way the the DQCakes section it was smooth sailing. The cakes available were all pictured and each were given a brief description of ingredients...this was really helpful in making my selection. We went with the French Silk Pie cake. Lead time is generally in 48 hrs and ours was ready (even though I was 1/2 hr. early!) when I went to my local store for pickup. The employee retreived my cake upon takeing my name, showed me the cake by opening up the container, swiped my gift card and bagged my cake. The whole transaction took less than 10 minutes. The cake needless to say was delicious...even though I'm not a huge fan of soft serve ice cream, it was a big hit with my entire family! It was exactly as described on the website, no surprises there. The price at $34.95 is on par with other ice cream cakes I've bought in the past. The cake is also very big and thick, it feeds approximately 12-15 people...we've had leftovers for days! All in all, I feel that Dairy Queen DQ Cakes are a great addition to any celebration/birthday/anniversary/family get-together, whatever the occassion. I would definitely recommend to my family and friends. I was very pleased with my experience.

I was out of town and came home to the opportunity of a sweet treat and quickly ordered a DQ Blizzard Cake .... there were some great choices but I ended up choosing chocolate extreme. The variety was enough that I had a hard time choosing which cake to pick. The one thing I did comment on was that I wish there was a gluten free variety as my daughter is celiac. When I went to pick the cake up the staff were very friendly and helpful and knew immediately where the cake was and brought it out quickly. We celebrating an occasion as such just the end of a great week hiking at Glacier National Park and the accomplishment of reaching the glacier. :) I would definitely go online and order again ... before my mum passed one of our traditions had always been an ice cream cake for Christmas from Dairy Queen! The cake itself was fantastic and enjoyed by everyone. NOTE: This product was offered to me free to taste test and to review quality and service. Thanks DQ!
