I received a $35 gift card to try out Dairy Queen cakes from Chick Advisor- thanks by the way! My family loves Dairy Queen and so the kids and i drooled over the selection on line of all the different cakes. We finally decided to go with one totally different from any other cake we have had- no flowers on this one- we got a flame cake! Ordering it through DQ website was a cinch and we placed our order. It was to be a best wishes for a great year to encourage the kids to have a great year at school! (Grade 8 and Grade 10.) I received a call from the DQ store here a few hours before i was to pick up cake- they did not have the template to make the cake i had ordered and i was rather bummed- we had planned a whole dinner to go with the cake! The lady at the local DQ recommended doing an air brushing since they did not have the template, which is the only option so we went with it. Picked the cake up and it looked wow! I thought there could have been more "stuff" on the top as it looked a little bare but the colours on the side were amazing and even the kids gave it a thumbs up! The only downfall was the airbrushing on the sides with the flames on it taste really yucky, no one in the house liked it. It tasted almost like licorice which does not go well with the sweetness of the cake. But the rest of the cake was delicious..especially those crunchy little chocolate bits in the middle! We will definitely continue to enjoy DQ cakes- although we may stick with all the flowers and such so the whole cake tastes divine!

I was lucky enough to win a chance to review a FREE Dairy Queen cake from Chick Adviser. I chose the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Blizzard Cake. It worked out perfectly since I wanted to do something special for my son going away to University. It was absolutely delicious!!! Everyone wanted more! I especially liked the fact that the tax was already included in the price of the cake. The wonderful staff were very helpful and enthusiastic and wrote on the cake for me. I received the Dairy Queen gift card for free to purchase a cake to test :) I ordered a blizzard cake and my store had a great selection and variety to choose from. When I picked it up in store, the customer service was fast and efficient. I picked up the cake cake to celebrate a late birthday for my daughter and the quality cake was amazing as all the quality of the cakes are amazing. I'd definitely consider ordering again online and recommend it to others :)

I received a 35$ gift card from Chick Advisor to try any of DQ's ice cream cakes, I purchased a 10" traditional cake, and gosh was it delicious, I also managed to share it with my hubby and 2 little ones (whom all loved every bite).
The variety was great when choosing our cake, but went with the traditional because it is what we all could agree upon. The staff were helpful and very friendly. I will defiantly be buying another in the future!

I was selected to take part in the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club testing group for DQ Cakes and i got a $35 gift card to try the Dairy Queen DQ Cakes. So the 10" Blizzard cake was for free.

I ordered a Chocolate Extreme Blizzard Cake and i loved the cake selection/variety, their was so many to choose from and they all looked so delicious. I ordered the cake on line and i went to the store to pick up the cake. The in-store pick up experience was really good, it went smoothly and quick. The service was outstanding.

I used this cake to celebrate my mother's 52nd birthday. It was perfect and I was able to serve all 16 of my closest family memers. The quality of the product was fabulous, it was smooth, creamy and delicious. Perfect for all my family members as we are all chocoholics. I would definitely order another DQ Cake in the future and also recommend it to my friends. Come to think of it my Father's birthday is in October and I will be going back to DQ for another cake...... gonna try the Oreo Blizzard cake.

I received the opportunity to try out a DQ ice cream cake for free. Ordering the cake was extremely easy through their website. I would have liked some other blizzard cake options - as there were only a couple so we went with the regular cake to celebrate my mom's birthday. The pick up process was easy and had no issues at all. The only downside to these cakes is trying to cut them! I've always known that you need to leave them out for a little bit before you decide to eat it, just so it can soften a little bit. The problem with doing that this time, was that all the icing just slid down the cake. (it wasn't even warm in the house) I've never had that happen before! It was an absolute mess to deal with.. and I still could barely cut through the cake!

In any event, I'd definitely buy a dq cake again as they are a nice treat. Maybe next time I'll try the torte!!! :o)

Always a treat to eat an ice cream cake

I ordered my cake (with the Gift Card I received from Chick Advisor) for my anniversary and was very pleased with it. I LOVE the creaminess, the crunch, the sweetness level. Superb! I ordered online for a pick up of 5pm the next day but my husband had a doctor's appointment at 315 so I thought I'd call and see if he could pick it up on his way home. I spoke to Suzanne at my store in Fredericton and she was outstanding! She said it would be no problem and she would do our cake next. I don't know why I don't buy all my cakes from DQ! :)

Ok I will start by saying the product itself was very good. The cake (we ordered a Hello Kitty one for our 3 year old) was adorable and it tasted great.

And the staff at the location we picked the cake up at were also great. Helpful and friendly and boy did they feel awful when we came in, with a little one in tow, and there was no cake for us.

I followed the online instructions. Picked our closest location. Personalized the cake and ordered. Unfortunately the order never made it to the actual restaurant. The staff was so apologetic and called the manager trying to figure out what went wrong but the bottom line is it wasn't their fault. The online system failed.

They had the cake ready to go the next day for us. They were more than willing to do it right then and there but we weren't in a panic so the next day was fine.

So, we will not order online again but we will go to the store and do it in person.

I GOT THIS FOR MY GRANDSON AND IT WAS A BIG HIT WITH HIM. WOULD DEFINATLY ORDER AGAIN
