Way over priced and bad quality

Never fresh, tastes freezer burnt, way way over priced. Wouldn't recommend and wouldn't buy anymore as it's been too many purchased being the same bad quality and over priced without any feedback from management

Didn't not like the texture at all, some of the ice cream was soft and easy to eat, then you hit the icing, especially between the layers, it was not made from ice cream and it was rock solid. It also looked like it had been sitting there for days.

I guess I my have just got a bad cake. To tasted bad and had ice crystals in the middle like it thawed and refroze. not the best cake I ever got from DQ

The flavour is not good, they all taste the same and I think they are so expensive. The quality of the product has gone down. I noticed that a while ago. And they don't offer interesting designs. Just my opinion though.

Very annoying, they do not make the middle layer like it used to be or (SHOULD BE!!) the fudge is barely even there and swirled only half not a nice long line of fudge, so annoying the only reason why I get it also the cookie crumbles barely any either! The chocolate ice cream part is also lighter and tasteless!! COME ON DAIRY QUEEN LEARN TO HAVE PATIENCE ON MAKEING ICE CREAM CAKE THE RIGHT WAY!!! If expecting us to pay MORE! Not worth it! I'd be ok to pay the price for a proper one!!!

As children and young adults we used to enjoy these for birthdays and special occasions. the price now is outrageous, quality has gone downhill. Sizing is not even the same.

I bought my mom a Dairy Queen cake as a little surprise...to be honest the cake was nicely decorated and looked quite yummy!!
I was a sooo disappointed in all the hype about these cakes. The fudge and cookie filling was poorly distributed between the layers of icecream. There were actual pockets of "air" where no cookie or fudge was supposed to be. Probably just poorly made?? OR is that the way they usually are made?? Not too sure as this was our first cake.
The taste of the ice cream was just okay.... tasted way different than their "fresh out of the machine" icecream that I usually get.
The icing on the cake was/is HORRENDOUS!! None of the 5 of us that tried the DQ Icecream Cake liked it enough to even finish our pieces, the rest went into the garbage unfortunately!!

Everyone seems to love these. First of all I've bought them more than once as all kids like them. I myself do not. I think there is too much hoopla over them and they cost way too much for what you get. I particularly do not like the bottom part of the cake, cookie part or whatever. It's just way too overpriced.

I am not a fan of DQ cakes, no matter what flavor you get they all taste the same. You can get much better ice cream cakes for a lot less money from almost any grocery store. Don't waste your money at DQ.

I don't understand what anyone sees in Dairy Queen ice cream cakes. It's shaped into a cake......big deal! It's all ice cream and sometimes depending on the so-called cake, there's some type of chocolate or caramel filling or something but not cake. It's not practical either because obviously it has to be kept in the freezer. A lot of people like them but I just don't see the attraction. Not to mention expensive and the ice cream is not that great either.
