Compact, but effective - this is a hanging plastic and mesh sweater dryer that can fold up into a small size, much like a fabric frisbee. It would work well for travel. It is inexpensive, but works well to aerate a wet sweater without stretching it out.

My only issue with this is that it can hold only one sweater at a time - or a few smaller items.
