This product is great for filling in holes around the trim. Color matched great and went on smooth. It washes off with water but after it hardens it wont come off. Will use this next around my tub. Super easy to use.

A good silicon for paint prep.

DAP ALEX PLUS® All-Purpose Acrylic Latex Caulk Plus Silicon Cured Caulk is good to use around windows and bathrooms as it is Mold & Mildew Resistant. I used it around a window in to seal before painting it is Paintable and creates a Waterproof Seal.

Fast and easy clean up.

I began using this product to seal some gaps in my house outside. It is easy to apply and also clean up. It spreads on smoothly and easy to apply. It's nice and bright white and fills in gaps well and adheres easily. It's great to use and fast and clean up and easy to smooth out.

Transform Your Home Using DAP

l used Drydex to repair water-damaged drywall around the shower, then applied Alex Plus Caulk to seal the shower's edges. The color-changing feature of Drydex helped me time the caulk application perfectly.

Great Sealant to Move Along Quick

Our youngest alerted us to some pesky ants sneaking in through our kitchen window. There were some obvious cracks in the frame – so this @dapcanada Alex Plus was a welcome fix. It's easy to apply and quick to dry so you can get started on the next steps right away. This also means no drafts or welcoming water to penetrate our doors and windows. The Alex Plus All Purpose Acrylic Latex Caulk Plus Silicone creates a flexible, waterproof seal as a first step in paint projects. Time to get the rest of the house winter ready.

Latex Caulk

I was chosen to test DAP Alex Plus Caulk & Drydex Spackling Kit by DAP for free. We bought our house a couple of years ago and are slowly doing renos. With winter just around the corner we are resealing the windows and doors as then need some touch ups.

As far as application goes it's very simple to apply. It smooth out pretty nicely too. Some places we had to reapply as it didn't give a smooth appearance but it was an easy fix. It also dries quickly.

Make sure you follow the instructions and the before care of the surfaces you are applying it to, to get the best application.

Awesome product.

I received this product for free from DAP in exchange for an honest review. I used this on 2 different projects and was extremely pleased with the results of each. The first project was patching 2 holes in the wall after I removed a picture. The caulking filled the holes and very minimal sanding was required. I waited 30 minutes and used some touch up paint to cover the areas and you cannot even tell that there were any holes previously. The second project was filling in a gap between my kitchen window and the window trim. This was a little trickier but still relatively easy. I squeezed out a line of the caulking and smoothed it out with my wet finger. After 30 minutes if desired you are able to paint over top or in my case I just left it as the caulking was already white and blended in perfect. Both projects were a success.
