Affordable DIY fix

Quick DIY fix to get my windows winter-ready using Dapcanada Alex Plus All Purpose Acrylic Latex Caulk Plus Silicone 300 mL (White) received for free in exchange for my honest opinion

It was easy to apply and sealed up gaps around the windows perfectly. The caulk dries quickly and it blends right in with the frames. In my opinion, It’s an affordable & durable fix that’ll make the house cozier and potentially helping to lower heating costs this season.

No fuss and gets the job done

I received this product for free from Butterly and it came at the perfect time. We had re-finished our on-suite bathroom months ago but never got around to putting the trim back up. Well, we finally did it and used the DAP white caulk to fill in the top of the trim to cover the small crack. It worked perfectly. No mess or clumping, it was smooth and easy to apply. Our bathroom finally has that finished look I’ve been waiting for.

Easy cleanup

I recently tried Alex Plus All Purpose Caulk, and
I really liked it. The caulk is easy to apply and
sticks well to different surfaces like wood and
metal. The white color matches most trims
nicely. It dries quickly, so 1 could paint over it in
a couple of hours. I also appreciated that it can
handle changes in temperature and moisture
without cracking. Cleanup was easy with just

Want crative...

If you want to do by yourself some home projects this is the right choice.. for durability and flexibility, resisting cracks and staying paintable once dried. Easy to apply and ideal product for kitchen and bathrooms. Results are worth it. Overall, it’s versatile, affordable, and effective for most sealing needs. Easy to use and dries quick

I used the Alex Plus Caulk with Silicone on several areas around my home and am very pleased with the results so far. In the kitchen, I applied a thin layer around my sink and countertop to seal gaps and prevent water damage. Although the initial thin layer cracked by the next morning, I plan to reapply a thicker coat for better durability. In the bathroom, it applied smoothly around my tub using a caulking gun. I cleaned up with a rag, and the area now looks as good as new—the sealant is holding up well.

For my old wood windows, both interior and exterior, the caulk stopped drafts effectively and dried quickly, in about half an hour. It seems to work especially well on wood, and I’m eager to see the long-term results on my windows. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the product and plan to purchase more to complete the rest of my home. I received this product for free to test and review.
