Sealing made easy!!

I recently used Alex Plus All Purpose Acrylic Latex Caulk Plus Silicone (300 mL, White) to seal some fine cracks in my window sill and also to tackle sealing the baseboards, and I couldn’t be more impressed! It was incredibly easy to apply, and the flexibility and durability were immediately apparent. The best part? It dried out in just a few minutes, which made my project move along quickly without compromising on quality. The adhesion is excellent, and the waterproof seal has held up beautifully, even after some exposure to weather. Overall, Alex Plus delivered exactly what I needed—a reliable and long-lasting solution that was simple to use and gave professional-looking results. Highly recommended for both small touch-ups and more involved sealing tasks around the house!

Versatile and very easy to use

I was thrilled with this product. It was very easy to use (especially considering I’ve never used anything like it before). It was very easy to control the amount coming out and so far it’s holding up extremely well. I used it across my whole condo to replace old caulk and will certainly be buying more when needed. This was given to me as a free product to try, and I will honestly be purchasing it again.

Great Product

Thank you DAP and Butterly for giving me the opportunity to try this product! I’ve been wanting to redo my bathrooms for a while and this gave me the final push to get it done! I love how smoothly it goes on, it dried in about 30 minutes, and it was super easy to apply. It’s a great product and I absolutely recommend it!

Easy to use and Easy to clean!

Got to work replacing some old cracked and crazed caulking around the bathtub today, this DAP Alex plus went into the crack smoothly, was easy to wipe away when I made a boo-boo, and will hopefully provide the watertight seal I need, since the previous caulking allowed quite a bit of nasty gunge in behind it. I liked how the nozzle was marked for cutting how wide of a bead you wanted to dispense, and was easy to use, even for a relative newbie like me. Caulking is smooth and clean, and after 12 hours curing it should be good for me to hop in the shower today to test it out!

Durable, beautiful seamless finish

We are a huge fan of Dap and have many of their products within our household. We used Dap Alex Plus All Purpose Acrylic Latex Caulk Plus Silicone in shade white around all our trim of our windows and door frames. It makes it have a beautiful seamless finish. The quality is always the best and is so durable and flexible and has a long lasting waterproof seal which prevents air and moisture from passing through cracks . It is so easy to use with my gun and the silicon makes the adhesive great. It glides on so smoothly and it always makes our trim pop. We love dap and are a customer for life.

Easy to Work With

This is one of the easiest caulks to work with - even for a rookie. I’m just learning the technique so having a product thats user friendly is super important to me. I had one small job left after our basement renovation and that was the silicone around the drink/candy station. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review so I was happy to finally commit to completing the project. I’m super pleased with the final results.

Must-Have Product for Finishing Baseboards & Trims

As a professional tradesperson (a COVID career change) I've been using Alex Plus All Purpose Acrylic Latex Caulk Plus Silicone 300 mL White for the past four years to finish off the installation of baseboards and interior window and door trims. The product is easy to use (if you're familiar with using a caulking gun). I typically cut the tip on an angle to assist with distributing the product evenly and with less excess. The product is easy to clean up in the event of any mishaps (just use water). It is paint-able and dries in half an hour.
