15 mins ready for paint.

I used the Dap Alex Ultra Sealant(white) against the drywall to a connecting shower wall. I wanted an extra tight water seal. One tube was plenty. It squeezes on easily with the caulking gun. It was dry enough in the recommended time of 15 minutes to move on to the painting. There was a little bit of odor but completely diminished. There is a bit of a semi gloss to the caulking but once painted it does not show thru my matte paint. I like that it was easy to clean up any overflow mistakes with a cloth and water.

Really great product!!

We are amateur DIYers (my husband and I) and always looking for a great new product to utilize in renovating our house. This was the perfect new product for us to try and we were/are in the tail end of renovating our basement! This sealant did the trick for all of our baseboards that needed to be sealed, as well as some spots on the stairs. Easy to use, smooth application, and clean finish - what more could you want in a product! Would recommend and would purchase again for another DIY home project.

High quality sealant

This is a great high quality sealant that can be used on cracks and splitting on walls, ceilings and corners. It’s easy to apply and once dried it’s waterproof and doesn’t warp or crack.

Does it's job well

I received ALEX ULTRA Advanced Latex Sealantto try it for free and share my opinion with everybody. We are currently doing some kitchen renovation and I tried this sealant. It does dry fast, extra of the sealant is very easy to remove and it doesn't leave any scent. I like it.

Great for long lasting paint projects!

I recommend this product for long lasting paint projects. So far the caulking hasn't cracked which is something that I worried about. I will need to keep an eye on it over time to see if it maintains the quality. You can easily paint over it without any issues.

Amazing

The DAP Alex Ultra sealant I used to install shower doors on my fiberglass tub and shower unit is still on the job, mold free, and fresh looking. Not bad service, I'd say. DAP products always apply with ease and are simple to manage and cleanup. They set quickly.

Great stuff!

I really like this caulking. It applies easily and goes on smooth.  Was easy to work with but you need to work quickly as it dries fast! I love that it is mold resistant and can be painted.  It doesn't have much of a smell either which is nice. I also love that it can be used indoors and outdoors.  I definitely recommend. Easy to use

We have used this on a few small projects, including a play kitchen makeover where we were wanting to seal between pieces of MDF board that would then be painted and this was perfect due to the anti-shrink technology and ability to be brush painted in 15 minutes (or spray paint immediately). I used it a few weeks ago, painted same day and haven’t seen any shrinking or cracking.

The sealant is also flexible, waterproof and mould and mildew resistant making it a great choice for kitchens and bathrooms etc.

This product is very easy to use, and wipes away cleanly with your finger.

Perfect smooth finish

It had perfect smooth finish. I tried without any attachments too, found it so smooth even and easy to use. Don’t need to press hard. Will see how long it stays as i did behind my sink.
