Renovation done like a pro

The DAP Alex Ultra Sealant was easy to use. It dried quickly enough for painting in less than 15 minutes. I like that it is made to last and not crack. Mildew and mild resistance is a plus.

Easy to use

I’m not much of a home improvement person, however, this DAP Alex Ultra sealant was super easy to use. We recently moved into our home that was built in 2003 so there some areas that need a little TLC. We had some cracking along the baseboards that we were able to fix up. It’s great that you are able to paint after 15min of applying the sealant. The easy use of the nozzle helped me keep the sealant where it needed to be, it was smooth, dried quickly and had very little odour.

Excellent product!

Excellent quality for caulking needs. I recently renovated my main bathroom and needed some caulking to finish up the top of our quartz around the wall line. It’s easy to use, dried very quickly and looks great!

So far so good

Latex caulk applies smoothly and evenly. Seems like a decent product but will have to see how it holds up to shrinkage and cracks. But so far so good. Need more time to say for sure

Easy to use

This product is easy to use, even for a novice like me! It definitely lived up to the expectations and the promises that were made. I was able to apply it in a small bathroom refresh and loved the results!

Best sealant I've ever tried

I received this product in echange for my honest opinion. First, let me say that I'm absolutely a beginner when it comes to caulking. I do, however, have 3 bathtubs that need to be resealed after years of not taking care of it. Well, my second time applying sealant was a lot easier than I expected.

I applied it around one of my bathtub and it was great. I was easy and smooth to apply and it dried quickly. I didn't need to paint over it but it did dry within 15 minutes as advertised and so far, after a week, no cracks either !

Also, one thing I always dread the most is the smell of sealent. I'm very happy to say that this sealant's smell is not quite as strong as the other sealants I've tried in the past. I'm very happy with the results so far. As for the water resistance, that's something that I will only be able to review after a few months.

But so far, I'm very pleased with the Dap alex ultra and I will definitely be buying more in the coming weeks so I can reseal two more bathtubs. Thank you butterly and dap for giving me this opportunity !

Easy application, quick dry!

We have used DAP products in the past, particularly the spackling kit for patching up our drywall. So when we got the opportunity to test out their sealant, we were ecstatic!

We used it for our windows, baseboards, and sinks and it worked great!

It glides smoothly and very easy to apply. It's so easy that a beginner like me can apply and look like a pro!

I hope they come up with a clear coliur one so I can apply to my faucets! It currently only come with white.

Consistently reliable & easy to use

DAP has long been a staple brand in my DIY repertoire. This product was easy to use and got me through re-caulking the baseboards and casings during my bathroom refresh in less than 15 minutes. Though the house is now 14 years old and some of the baseboards are due for a replacement, refreshing the cracked caulking was an easy fix to tide me over until the time comes for a complete overhaul. It dries quickly which means no waiting to move on to the next step in my projects. The bright white color also helps freshen everything up. Great paint ready sealant.

This is a great, fast drying sealant that will not shrink. You can easily apply paint 15 minutes after application so you don't have to wait to finish your products. An essential with DIY!

Easy to use

I do all my home repairs on my own (I'm not a professional) and this was easy to use and has been holding up well so far! Dries quick and doesn't smell. Definitely recommend!
