If you’ve ever gone through any kind of home renovations, you’ll understand the frustration of realizing how many items/products you suddenly need to even start demo-inf! My husband and I purchased a caulk gun not too long after buying our first home this year, and we’ve already put it to work.

So when Butterly asked if I wanted to try Dap’s Anti-Shrink caulk, I was thrilled to add another tube to my ever-growing collection of tools. We are currently in the process of demo-ing our kitchen in preparation for a full remodel, which will require plenty of caulking, especially around the sink area. Dap is a well-trusted brand with lots of products, so we’ll be sure to use this tube and plenty of others in the near future.

I had the chance to review DAP ALEX ULTRA advanced Latex Sealant!!

I've been using this amazing acrylic latex sealant, and I love it! It works on a variety of surfaces, including brick, wood, and glass, making it ideal for do-it-yourself tasks. It was simple to apply there was no mess, just easy gliding. It adheres tightly to varied surfaces and seals like a dream, leaving no room for leaks or holes!!

Today I’m reviewing the DAP ALEX ULTRA ADVANCED ANTI-SHRINK SEALANT.

The anti-shrink is a must when filling in the cracks and it really do work, when your in a hurry to get the finishing touches on your house so you can get it painted you don’t want to be having to go back and touch it up because it shrinks and cracks up so to me personally this is the BEST FEATURE.

Drying in only 15 mins so you can get it painted almost immediately. LOVE IT !!! (I’m Impatient sometimes and really wanna get my projects done quickly)

DAP is so easy to apply that for most people you get away with little to no mess but I always end up with a mess no matter what I’m doing because that’s just the type of person I am so another reason I like this product is that it cleans up so easy with a little water leaving your house with a professional look.
Would 100% recommend DAP ALEX ULTRA ADVANCED ANTI-SHRINK SEALANT to all my family and friends ( Any Dap products has my Recommendation ).

Easy to use

I'm very impressed with this sealant. There is almost no odor when applyiny and It dries fast. You can paint it within 15 minutes. It's very easy to use !

LOVE DAP

DAP products are always my go to when it comes to home repairs. I've purchased many of their products before and the quality is always amazing. I got to try the ALEX ULTRA Advanced Latex Sealant for reall. It's a high performing acrylic latex sealant for indoor and outdoor use! I found this product so user friendly! I'm pretty knowledgeable with home repairs/dyi projects but I think this would be super easy to use for beginners as well. It has no scent and dries so quickly! Overall this product did what it said it was going to do and more!

Great fast drying sealer!

I got to try this DAP alex ultra sealant in exchange for an honest review. DAP is a brand that we have been using for a long time and it has never let us down. I used this tube of sealant to redo the caulking on my shower walls and bath contour. We have showered a few times since then and the sealant has not moved. It dried super fast, didn't shrink and didnt smell as much as other ones we've tried before. I definitely recommend this sealant if you need a product that dries fast and lasts a long time.

Very effective

It works very well. It applied evenly on my roof surfaces
And performed as well as competitive brands. I like that it dried very quickly and is waterproof which is what I needed to seal a leak on my shed roof.

Great product

I used this in the bathroom around my bathtub. It was easy to apply and added bonus it’s waterproof. It sealed the gaps securely and it’s mold and mildew resistant. Application with ease with the precision nozzle. Definitely recommend this for your next DIY project.

Easy application!

DAP was easy to apply and dried fast. Will have to wait a few weeks to see if it shrinks or not. Overall good product.
