It has a low odor so it's great for those with a scent sensitivity and it dries in 15 minutes so it's ready to be painted if using on a paint - able surface!

Easiest Sealant in Market

Loved how east it was to use. I was kind of scared of possible mess but this blew my mind. Was super handy, no prior experience needed, loved my paint job and the finish

Easy to use

I received the Alex Ultra advanced latex sealant for free from butterly provided I use the product and give my honest opinion.

This item couldn’t have come at a better time, I had a project on my list to get taken care of and kept putting it off until now.

My living room crown moulding was improperly installed and there’s a very noticeable gap between the ceiling and crown moulding.

I’ve always been debating whether to leave it as is or to cover the gap.

I used the dap sealant on the gap and it was fairly easy to use, the product dispersed very smoothly, didn’t leave any mess or odor and I was able to smooth out the caulk with my finger.

I don’t think I will paint over it, as I want it to remain white.

I only filled out a small area with the dap as I do have to move my furniture but this is something I will be doing over the weekend.

I made sure to seal the top of the nozzle very well so that it doesn’t dry out.

My favorite DIY product

I received this product from DAP and thisisbutterly in exchange for my honest review. This antishrink is very easy and convenient to use when it comes to filling the cranks. It drys quickly, less than 20 minutes so that you don't need to wait for hours to finish your paint or project. Won't even make lots of mess. Easy to clean and use.

DAP Alex Ultra Advanced Latex Sealant

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I used the DAP Alex Ultra Advanced Latex Sealant for an exterior project outside my home with the help of my dad.

I wanted to apply a nice seal around a newly installed door bell button panel. I loved how easy it was to use, the texture was very smooth and easily glided into all the nooks and crannies! It dried quickly without any shrinkage, movement or cracking. I did not notice any strong odours during the application and it cured extremely fast! It also provides a 100% waterproof seal, I checked after we had a crazy rainstorm and it looks good as new! Great product to have around the house or inside the house!

First time home buyer dream product

I was sent this DAP Alex Ultra Advanced Latex Sealant for free in exchange for a review with Butterly and I was so excited to test it out on my new home as an eager DIY-er! It is an older home so I love that this product is mildew and mold resistant as water is the enemy, especially in an older home. I wanted to ensure my homes windows were properly sealed. DAP Alex Ultra was simple to use and exactly what I needed to get my job done and done the right way! it didn't crack or shrink and has been durable thus far. It went on smoothly and is advertised that you can begin to paint within just 15 minutes of applying - which is a great option if you are in a rush to start painting, but for me I still need to decide on some paint colours. I didn’t really notice much of any odour. I researched the pricing online and I believe it is fair value for use and will be purchasing in the future. I look forward to using this product on more of my new home projects!

High performance, hasnt shrunk, painted over with ease just 20minutes later! Had very low odor which make it great for inside use. It is mold and mildew resistant so it can be used in a bathroom without issues

Got the job done good!

I really liked this product. Having little odour was nice when using it to seal around some bathroom pieces. It applied smoothly and the anti-shrink technology made it an easy application with little difficulty applying it. Likely will be my go-to sealant brand and product moving forward.

DAP Alex Ultra Advanced was just what I needed for my mini #diywithdap washroom reno! #dapcanada #alexultra was easy apply and didn't crack. It went on smoothly and there wasn't much of a smell. Its also waterproof so that gave me peace of mind and perfect for the washroom!

Easy to work with

I got the product free from butterly in exchange for my honest review. DAP Ultra Alex White is easy to work with, it applies smoothly and easily. It is flexible and can be use to various surfaces. It claims to be waterproof, mold and mildew resistant so we used it in the bathroom corner (the area is not getting wet directly but can be moist at times) and so far so good.
