Great product! Efficient and easy to use

This product is great! It's use friendly, gets the job done, and is priced reasonably. As someone who is not experienced in home improvement products, I like when the product is easy to use/ doesn't require me asking others for help. The applicator tip make the product come out smooth and not messy!

Good quality

I used this product to recaulk my bath surround. So far, it seems to be very effective. It dried extremely quickly. It was very easy to use...I will definitely use this product in the future.

Great for any level of experience

Butterly and DAP sent me the Alex Ultra Advanced Latex Sealant to try free in exchange for my honest review,  and I had just the spot for it!

The one moulding keeps popping out in the bay window my cats love to sun and nap in. It's been an issue since the repairs from the tornado hit, and every windstorm since. We hope sealant will help where just nails didn't do the job, and also keep and hint of outside weather out.

The tube was easy to use. I tried a new gadget instead of my finger for smoothing as my skin has been sensitive. It had a learning curve. There were a few gaps and a bit of a mess, but the AlexUltra Sealant was easy to clean quickly, and I could go back in and do touch ups fast very easily as well. The Sealant is very forgiving, so I think it's good for all levels of expertise (and gadgets!).

The fact that the Sealant is anti-shrink, waterproof, will be mould & mildew resistant when cured and almost odor free reassured me that it was safe for an area my cats pretty much live in.

I've been using DAP ALEX ULTRA Advanced Latex Sealant to re-caulk my windows since the colder weather will be here soon.

This is a high performing acrylic latex sealant with anti-shrink technology that creates a durable long lasting seal that won't crack after being painted. It can be used for both, indoor & outdoor projects and provides a 100% waterproof seal that is mould and mildew resistant.

I normally get my husband to do around the home projects, but I took this job on myself and was really happy with how it turned out. The sealant glides on smoothly, isn't overly messy and I love that if I made a mistake I could just clean it up with water. This is suitable for all kinds of surfaces so I may have to pick up a few more to tackle other projects around the home.

Getting projects done quicker

We had the opportunity to try the ALEX ULTRA Advanced Latex Sealant in perfect time. We were finally getting around to creating our wood accent wall in our youngest sons room.

It was way easier to use and apply. Definitely high performing and we didn't have any issues with shrinking. From what we can see its durable and long-lasting and it hasn’t cracked after painting. It was great that we could brush paint in just 15 minutes after application or for other projects it can be spray painted immediately for improved productivity.

Application was smooth & easy. We found it low in odour. It's great as you can use it on a wide variety of surfaces, and it provides a 100% waterproof seal and cured caulk is mould and mildew resistant.

We are so happy with the end result!

Great Sealant with No Odour and Shrinkage

This is a great sealant to use for home improvement projects. It’s very low in price and hits all the marks. There isn’t an obscure odour when it comes out, dries fast, and has minimal to no shrinkage. Definitely will recommend to family and friends.

We were asked to review dap Alex ultra. And it did not disappoint. We have always used Alex plus but will be switching now to ultra. We found it was true to advertise for the quick dry time. We used on some base board and were applying paint 20 mins after. I was also very happy with the very low smell factor because we have sensitive people in our home. It also laid on very smoothly.

Amazing Sealant!

This sealant was amazing! It was easy to apply and dried within fifteen minutes. Unlike other sealants, there was no shrinkage after application. I waited thirty minutes prior to painting, as it was very humide the day I was doing a DIY project. The paint application was seamless. I will definitely recommend this product to friends/family and will purchase it for future projects

DAP ALEX ULTRA Advanced Latex Sealant is really good. It's supposed to be super strong and flexible, and it works on a variety of surfaces. Plus, it's easy to clean up with just soap and water. Overall, it sounds like a great option for anyone who needs a reliable sealant.
