Excellent acrylic latex sealant

We recently used DAP ALEX ULTRA Advanced Latex Sealant in our kitchen prior to painting. We used it around our cabinets and backsplash. It is a high performing acrylic latex sealant that applied smoothly & didn't crack after painting. It is durable with excellent adhesion for a perfect waterproof seal. Great product

It is a great acrylic latex sealant, featuring Anti-Shrink technology, resulting in a durable, crack-resistant seal after painting. The instruction was very easy. It leaves no mess. It's ready to paint in just 15 minutes. I personally used it in the kitchen and walls. it works really well. It's easy to use. It dried pretty quickly. It makes all the cracks, small holes and gaps disappear.

Great sealant

I was gifted this sealant recently. It is easy to apply and dries pretty quickly. It doesn't have string odor. We had to recently repair the molding around the door, and this sealant worked great around the door to seal all the gaps

Nice and smooth

Dap Alex ultra advanced anti shrink sealant worked great. Glides on nice and smooth and I like that it doesn’t shrink. It dries very quickly so you can paint over it. The paint sticks to it, makes it so much easier for a nice smoother and cleaner looking job. Will be purchasing again as we need to redo our bathroom!

Excellent! Easy Application

DAP Alex Ultra Advanced Latex Sealant is excellent. Extremely easy to apply, and easy cleanup if you get a little generous with the application. I used this sealant to replace the old sealant around my tile in my bathroom shower area. I will definitely be using this product again. I will also be recommending it to my friends, and family. Application instructions were super easy to read, and follow. I love to DIY projects around my house making small, but beautiful upgrades. Professional job from home

High quality sealant. Perfect for any DIY you have to do outside. It dosent shrink, easy to be applicable and a beautiful white color. I personally used it for my bathroom and it made it perfect. It dried quickly and evenly. I was impress of the nice job it did.

Used it once and alread looking to repurchase!!!

Love this!! It was very useful during our recent basement renovation! The crack resistant feature really is the selling point for me, I’ve used so many other sealant that has cracked throughout the years.

Also noticed that sealant doesn’t have a strong odour and smoothly & easily. I was desperate to find a sealant that was good for the bath and this one is the PERFECT ONE!! I’m so happy as it provides a 100% waterproof seal and is resistant to mold and mildew.

Finally this product is It's suitable for both interior and exterior use, making it perfect for households with kids.

I got this for free but I will be definitely be repurchasing this again to finish our basement! I was able to find this online at Home Depot!

A quality product that produces quality results!

I had the opportunity to try the ALEX ULTRA Advanced Latex sealant for the first time. I have used many brands over the years for my caulking needs and was looking forward to seeing how this fared against those.
I decided to do up my tiles in the bathroom above my bathtub, as it needed some immediate attention.
After scraping off the old caulk that had shrunk and also got cracks, it was time to get to work.
I cleaned and dried the surface and cut the nozzle for the caulk gun and applied it the normal way as I have done in the past when caulking.
It was really easy to apply and cleaned out any excess caulk on the edges. I was pleasantly blown away by how fast it dried. It does say 15 mins on the packaging, but I left it for an hour just to make sure.
The sealant is brand and mold resistant. This is a big plus point in my books. It is also anti-shrink and offers a lifetime guarantee, which speaks a lot about the brand as a whole.
One thing I noticed is that there is no heavy odor lingering around. It came off very smooth when applying. It is also 100% waterproof and doesn't pick up dirt.
This brand has taught of everything when keeping its customers first and understanding their needs. I can't wait to finish the painting over the caulk next week, without having to worry about underlying cracks and it shrinking, like some of the other past brands I have used.

This sealant was really easy to use and looks great. I highly recommended it. Perfect for a big project or just small diy things around the house. Even easy for beginners to use.

WOW - Amazing Sealant!

This is an excellent product. I love the anti-shrink technology that DAP Alex Ultra has. I did not notice any shrinkage. The product is durable and long lasting. No cracks even after being painted! It was quick to dry and I was able to pain in as little as 15 minutes. Overall a fantastic product that is durable and applies smoothly and easily and 100% waterproof seal and mould and mildew resistant. Easy to work with - I highly recommend!
